IIIT Delhi BTech Eligibility & Highlights 2025
BTech at Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Delhi is a full-time course offered at the undergraduate level. The four-year course is divided into eight semesters. IIIT Delhi offers BTech in nearly eight specialisations. The course curriculum is more research-driven. Mentioned below are key highlights for the UG programmes:

- IIIT Delhi BTech admission is done through JEE Main score followed by Joint Admission Counselling or JAC Delhi counselling.
- For Delhi-based students, admission to BTech CSD is done basis of UCEED rank.
- For non-science Delhi students, admission to BTech CSSS is done Class 12 performance and no entrance exam score is needed.

- The BTech tuition fee amount is INR 19.55 lakh, the hostel fee is INR 4.40 lakh and the one-time fee is INR 12,000.

IIIT Delhi BTech Admission 2025: How to Apply?
The admission criteria for the UG-level course is entrance-based. Candidates applying for the course shall ensure that they meet the prescribed eligibility requirements. The applications are accepted in online mode for IIIT Delhi course admissions. The steps to be followed for the IIITD BTech admissions are:
STEP 1: IIIT Delhi BTech Application Process 2025
Candidates need to fill out the BTech application form as per the exam they are applying through, for example, JEE Main/UCEED. The application process for BTech at IIIT Delhi is explained below in a step-wise way:
Step 1: Visit the official website of IIIT Delhi (iiitd.ac.in).
Step 2: Click on the BTech course from the ‘Admission’ tab.
Step 3: Click on the respective application link, such as to apply through JAC, IIITD admission process, and UCEEd rank.
Step 4: Read the instructions carefully and fill out the application form.
Step 5: Pay the application fee and apply.

STEP 2: Release of Cutoff List
A cutoff is published after the conclusion of the application process. The list mentions the required minimum exam score for a student to be eligible for admission. Students with exam scores/rank in accordance with the cutoff become eligible for admission. It is prepared based on JEE Main or the UCEED rank for Delhi-based students applying for BTech CSD.
STEP 3: Counselling
The seat allotment for BTech at IIIT Delhi is through JAC Delhi counselling. Students have to participate in counselling for document verification and to secure a seat. However, for the non-science, Delhi students, admission to BTech CSSS is done by Class 12 performance and no entrance exam score is needed.
STEP 4: Admission Confirmation
After counselling, students have to report to the institute. The important documents may have to be submitted for verification and the admission fee has to be paid.
