The college provides good infrastructure and placements.

Placements: Approximately 80% of the student got placed, and the rest went for higher studies. Most of the student got placed in core roles as a geophysicist. The salary package offered varies between 15-21 LPA. Companies that visit are ONGC, Schlumberger, Cairn India, and some other core companies.

Infrastructure: IITB is one of the best technical institutes in the country. It has all the facilities which include air-conditioned classrooms, Wi-Fi campus, a vast and beautiful library, and a beautiful campus. The mess facility is up to the mark, and every hostel has a canteen which serves good food. It has its hospital. Sports and cultural activities are taken very seriously in IITB.

Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and very helpful. Most of them have done intensive research, and they are experts in their field. The course curriculum is designed in such a manner that it helps students to get ready for the industry, and it also focuses on the personal development of the student.

Other: As I had done my graduation in physics, I wanted to do an applied course where I can use my knowledge directly in the industry, so I have chosen geophysics. It is directly related to the exploration of petroleum and gases.
