Admission to IIT Delhi BTech courses is subject to fulfiment of the eligibility requirements for JEE Main and JEE Advanced. The students who have passed Class 12 in Science stream with at least 75% aggregate (65% aggregate for SC/ST/PwD) are eligible to apply. Hence, a student scoring less than 60% is not eligible to pursue BTech at IIT Delhi. They can go for other colleges offering the course. IIT Delhi offers a four-year full-time BTech course across multiple specialisations. During the IIT Delhi JEE Advanced cutoff 2025, the closing rank for the B.Tech in CSE course was 45 for the SC All India category students. Thus, a candidate securing a rank of up to 45 or below is only eligible for admission to the BTech in CSE course at IIT Delhi. 

Yes, IIT Delhi offers a four-year full-time BTech course at the undergraduate level. IIT Delhi BTech admission is completely entrance-based. The selection is based on JEE Advanced score obtained by JEE Main-qualified candidates. The centralised counselling process for all the IITs is managed and regulated by the JoSAA, based on which seat allotment is carried out for all the JEE Advanced-qualified candidates. 

50 students received domestic offers with package more than INR 1 crore per annum during the IIT Delhi placement drive 2023. Further, the highest international package offered during IIT Delhi placements 2023 stood at INR 2.5 crore per annum. 

Candidates who meet the course-specific eligibility criteria and have a valid GATE score can apply. Aspirants can complete the application form through the IIT Delhi official website. This is for M.Tech full-time programmes. For part-time/sponsored full-time courses, eligible candidates can register directly at the official website. Admission to part-time M.Tech is based on a written exam and interview round conducted by the institute.

No, IIT Delhi has separate hostels for Boys and Girls. There are no co-ed hostels. The institute has no tolerance policy for the same. Boys can only visit the girls' hostel visitor’s room and vice-versa. On house days, the institute may allow students to visit other hostels.
