For 2024, cut off was 4849 for General category candidates in All India quota for B.Tech. in Biochemical Engineering and Biotechnology in Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. IIT Delhi B.Tech cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.

There are various components included in the course fee structure. The Indian Institute of Technology Delhi BTech fees range between INR 8 lakh and INR 10 lakh. The fee mentioned here is taken from the official website/sanctioning body and is the total tuition fee. However, it is still subject to changes and hence, is indicative.

To apply for JEE Main, candidates must pay the application fee of INR 1,000 for Boys and INR 800 for Girls. For detailed fee structure, candidates are advised to contact the admission department of the institute.

IIT Delhi offers a four-year full-time BTech course across multiple specialisations. During the IIT Delhi JEE Advanced cutoff 2025, the closing rank for the B.Tech in CSE course was 45 for the SC All India category students. Thus, a candidate securing a rank of up to 45 or below is only eligible for admission to the BTech in CSE course at IIT Delhi. 

IIT Delhi cutoff 2025 for BTech admission has been released for Round 1. The cutoff was released as opening and closing ranks for different categories of students belonging to the AI quota. During Round 1, the BTech admission cutoffs were between 125 and 5608, with CSE being the most competitive specialisation for admission. IIT Delhi admission process is conducted on the basis of entrance exams, except for the PG Diploma course. The university accepts several national-level entrance exams for admissions such as JEE Main, GATE,  CAT, IIT JAM,  UCEED, etc. The university conducts its application process in an online mode.

JEE Advanced Cutoff 2025 for BTech course ranged from 126 to 5733 for students in the General AI category, so therefore a student should attain a rank of 5733 or preferably lower to increase their chances of admission to IIT Delhi. At end of IIT Delhi Phase 1 placements 2024-25, a total of 1,200 offers were made and 1,150 students were placed. In addition, more than 50 international offers were made during IIT Delhi Phase 1 placements 2024-25. International offers came from more than 15 organisations across multiple global regions. The placement rate recorded during IIT Delhi placements 2023 and 2022 stood at 84.94% and 82%, respectively.

50 students received domestic offers with package more than INR 1 crore per annum during the IIT Delhi placement drive 2023. Further, the highest international package offered during IIT Delhi placements 2023 stood at INR 2.5 crore per annum.
