As per the CUET UG website, students seeking admission to BA at Jamia Millia must appear for and qualify CUET exam. However, since some universities are also considering other components while giving admission to CUET-UG based courses, it could be a possibility of getting into JMI without CUET. But, this being said there is no official information on whether the university will only consider CUET UG scores or other components as well for admission, it is tough to give the right answer. Economics, Hindi, Sanskrit, Spanish & Latin American Studies, French and Turkish Language & Literature will consider CUET scores for admission starting 2022. • 30% of the total number of seats in each course are reserved for Muslim applicants. 10% of the total number of seats in each course are reserved for women applicants
  who are Muslims and 10% of the total number of seats in each course shall be earmarked for (OBCs) and ST students who are Muslims.
• 5% of seats in all the courses are reserved for physically challenged students.
• 5% of seats in all courses must be filled by internal students of Jamia who have passed their qualifying exam from Jamia schools as regular students.

The eligibility criteria are different for B.A. (Hons) and Diploma programmes. For most of the courses, the criteria is to have not less than 50% marks in aggregate in the best of 5-papers in the 12th standard Senior Secondary School Certificate or equivalent examination. However, for certain courses the bar of minimum marks in 12th standard or equivalent is 45%. Candidates should apply only after ensuring the eligibility criteria for their selected course. Candidates whose last year or semester result is awaited can also apply for Jamia Millia Islamia entrance exam.
