Tie-Breaker

In case two or more candidates secure the same marks, they will be ranked based on a tie-breaker, which is explained below:

  • A candidate getting a higher percentage of marks in the qualifying examination (bachelor's degree) shall rank higher in order of merit
  • If the marks are still equal, then the candidate obtaining a higher percentage of marks in Class 12 or an equivalent examination shall rank higher in order of merit
  • If the above criteria do not break the tie, the candidate senior in age shall rank higher in order of merit

PU-CET (PG) Counselling

PU-CET (PG) counselling details will be announced by Panjab University. The university prepares a merit list based on the candidate’s score in PU-CET exam, Group Discussion and Personal Interview rounds. PU-CET (PG) exam counselling is done in multiple rounds based on availability of seats. Students whose names are present on the merit list need to attend the counselling session in person on the notified date of counselling. PU-CET (PG) admission process is offline.
