Great college with good facilities to develop your strengths with their guidance and your hard work.

Placements: Placements are good but not for structural engineering. For other courses, they are really good. L&T is one of the big companies which are always there for structural engineering. Few multinational companies also come. The placement panel is good and helpful. It takes care of the students.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is superb. The hostels have a great capacity. The mess is good as well. Canteen facilities are not sufficient. There is only one canteen for such a huge campus. The classrooms are big and spacious. The facility of lift is provided in every single building. It is an environment-friendly campus having almost every sports playground.

Faculty: Most of the faculty members are doctorates. They have a great experience and are helpful and also strict when it comes to discipline. The course curriculum is well planned is followed as planned, which is helpful for the students who live far away to plan their holidays and book their tickets.

I am satisfied with many things in the college. I did not get placed but I got confidence here.

Placements: In MTech, we have very less placements in our core branch, but everyone will get a minimum of one software job if you try for that with 3-4 lakhs package. In my class, only 3 people got placed in core jobs. Only L&T and one unknown company came but offered a good package. In L&T, only one girl got placed. As per my branch, maximum people went for the internship without any help of the college. They directly went through their personal recommendations only. I do not exactly know the stipends they got. But as per my knowledge, it is a maximum of 15,000 and a minimum of 10,000 per month.

Infrastructure: When coming to the infrastructure, it is really awesome and all the facilities are very good. In the hostel, for each and everyone, they will give 8 GB of Internet for a month. The maintenance of the hostel is also good. Labs also have all the equipment which are required for us. The classrooms are having the projectors. Other than the calculation part, everything will be shown in PPTs. There is a small hospital and a bank and for sports, all the required arrangements are there. Coming to the quality of food, it is really good compared to the outside food in Chennai. The price is normal.

Faculty: Other than one or 2 faculty members, the remaining are very good and very experienced ones. In my second year, one lecturer named Dr Muthumani sir joined in our college. He was retired as a director of CSIR. He is having an excellent knowledge and experience in the civil engineering department. The faculty to students ratio will be 1:8. The lectures were taught through powerpoint presentations only. They will give daily assignments and we have to submit those via online only on a website called moodle. For those, you will get marks.
