The perfect place for exposure and research.
Placements: As an M.Tech student of communication engineering, our main focus is on the internship. Many core companies Like Intel, Siemens, Qualcomm, etc., and many non-core companies also visit the campus to provide internships every year. After getting internships in these companies, the companies may also offer jobs.
Infrastructure: There are many well-equipped laboratories on the campus. Wi-Fi facility is available in both the girls' and boys' hostels as well as in the library. A hospital is available inside the campus. VIT's library is one of the best libraries with a sufficient number of books. Many basketball courts and table tennis tables are available on the campus, and there is much scope for sports. Classrooms are very good. Food provided in the canteen is tasty for south Indian as well as north Indian students, and there are many varieties available. The ladies rooms are very clean. But as a northeast Indian, I sometimes face some problems regarding the taste of food.
Faculty: In the communication department, all the faculty members are very well-educated and are focused mainly on research. There are highly knowledgeable and qualified faculty members who are always ready to help you. The education system is flexible. You can get industry exposure from VIT.
Other: The college conducts two main fests which are Gravitas and Riviera. Riviera 2019 will be organised from 14-17th February. Sonu Nigam, Ayushmann Khurrana and DJ Shaan are invited for the event.

Some facts about VIT which a real VITian only knows.
Placements: VIT intake is too much. But they can't provide job in core companies for everyone as it is practical too. Placements will happen almost daily for two months. You will feel which one to attend which one not to. But finally, 95% of the students will be placed in IT companies only. Even if other companies come, they also need testing profiles. Please don't join this college for Masters. It is good for B.Tech though.
Infrastructure: Pretty good. Well organised institution with all facilities. You don't have to go out for anything if you are staying in VIT hostel. Laboratories are really good and well-equipped. A separate library block too which is air conditioned. But as Vellore is the hottest place in south India, it is too hot during summer there. They don't have AC classrooms. You will have to adjust with electric fans only. All auditoriums are air conditioned.
Faculty: Faculty are good. Most of them have doctorates because VIT screens with this condition only while recruiting faculty. Courses are not so updated ones. They should to revise their syllabi because industry requirements are too different from what they have set as their syllabus.
Other: Very beautiful campus, good exposure. You will feel proud to be the part of such institution until you are inside VIT.

College life and extracurricular activities are good at VIT University, Vellore
Placements: VIT is providing a lot of placements but people who having arrear are not allowed for placements. Compared to B.Tech, M.Tech has less percentage to get a job. My sincere advice is if anyone wants to study B.Tech in VIT, go for computer science because they are asking for it, most of them are from the computer background and if anybody is thinking about M.Tech, don't go for it.
Infrastructure: VIT's infrastructure is very nice for students. They designed a block like for electrical and electronics having a separate school, for computers and MCA a special school, like that. Every branch will be under a particular school with a standard infrastructure. Finally, the MGR block is designed with glass and wood. It especially looks pretty. I didn't see that much of quality in any college. Finally, the Anna auditorium is there and it is capable of nearly 1500 as the sitting capacity. It is a huge auditorium here and some events will be done.
Faculty: Nearly 400 plus faculty members are available on the Vellore campus. The teaching levels are of high standards compared to other colleges and the college curriculum was nice. They are updating it daily with some interesting things for students' future. Coming to FFCS, it is the fully flexible credit system and it is coming under students. It is containing student information that is attendance, marks, faculty information and the full curriculum of the college, semester program details, etc.
