IIM Amritsar IPM Admissions 2026: The Indian Institute of Management, Amritsar will be accepting IPMAT scores for admission to the five year integrated programme in management. The institute will consider IPMAT Indore scores for selecting the students through the entrance.
IIM Amritsar’s IPM programme is aimed at training young minds and preparing them for the world of management. The IPM programme at IIM Amritsar includes a Bachelor of Science in Quantitative Finance and Economics degree, BSQFE, and two years of Masters in Business Administration degree. Students will have the exit option after 3 years of the programme and be awarded the BSQFE degree. The IPM programme is focused on applications of quantitative techniques in the areas of finance and economics. It also provides introduction to various facets of business management and at the same time preparing the students for leadership roles in finance, economics and management.

Minimum eligibility criteria for IPMAT is a score of at least 60 per cent in both Class 10 and Class 12 or equivalent for General and NC-OBC categories. Candidate should have scored a minimum of 55% in case of SC, ST and PWD DA categories.
Also, they should be a maximum of 20 years of age as of July 31, 2026.
IPMAT score is based on correct answers marked in IPMAT exam.
For every correct answer, 4 marks are awarded. For an incorrect answer, 1 mark is deducted.

IIM Amrtisar IPM Eligibility Criteria 2026
The IPMAT 2026 eligibility criteria for IIM Amritsar's i-MBA admissions state:
- Students must have a minimum of 60% aggregate in Class 10 and Class 12 or equivalent CGPA in the case of the General and NC OBC categories.
- Students belonging to SC, ST or PWD DA categories must have secured at least 55% aggregate or equivalent CGPA in Class 10 and Class 12.
- Students must have studied Mathematics or Applied Mathematics as a compulsory paper in Class 12.
- Students must have passed the qualifying exam in 2025 or appearing in 2026.
- Students in the final year of Class 12 or awaiting the results are also eligible to apply provisionally.
- Students should not be more than 20 years of age as of July 1, 2026
- Students who completed Class 12 from international schools affiliated to foreign boards, such as the International General Certificate of Secondary Education, IGCSE, and the International Baccalaureate, IB, can also apply.

IPMAT Indore and IPMAT Rohtak have similar syllabus but they differ in terms of difficulty level. IPMAT Indore exam has 3 sections based on Verbal Skills and Quantitative Skills but the IPMAT Rohtak exam has an extra section on Logical Reasoning.
