Q:   Are 10+2 level maths questions asked in IPMAT?
A:

Integrated Program in Management Aptitude Test (IPMAT) is one of the most competitive entrance exams after Class 12. The difficulty level of the IPMAT exam is usually moderate. The IPMAT question paper is divided into three sections, i.e. Verbal Ability, Quantitative Aptitude (MCQs) and Quantitative Aptitude (SA). It is clear that QA (Maths) forms a big chunk of the IPMAT syllabus. The exam is a test of your speed and ability to pick and solve the right questions. Higher-level Maths dominates the exam. Usually, more than 60% of all the QA questions are from the Class 11 and Class 12 syllabus. Calculus and Class 12 Maths form a large portion of questions in IPMAT. IPMAT Exam 2025 Student Reactions and Reviews

Check below to know the IPMAT student reactions and reviews:

  • Student 1: The exam was good. The Quantitative Aptitude section (MCQs) was lengthy and tricky, but the Verbal Ability section was easy. I think I'll score good marks. The Verbal Ability section had a lot of grammar. The overall difficulty level for me was moderate.
  • Manish Tyagi: The exam was average. For QA MCQs were lengthy and time-consuming. The SA questions were tricky, and I had to leave a few questions. They were on par with the IPMAT mock tests, which I took from coaching classes. For VA, the section had three RCs which usually have two, hence it was difficult for me. Topics such as matrix and integration in QA were dominating.
  • Ketan Gupta: The SA section had easy questions. The MCQs section had Data Interpretation, which was doable using calculators. The VA section had a new kind of question, i.e. Dialogue Interpretation. The RCs were moderate. The first RC I attempted was hard and the rest two were doable and moderate. The RCs were based on Social Media and Consumerism. Vocabulary questions were included in this section. The topics were evenly distributed.
  • Student 2: The VA RCs were difficult but doable. In QA section the short answers were pretty easy and MCQs had data interpretation question,s which were also doable.
