The cutoff trend for B.Tech at IIT Madras - Indian Institute of Technology has been increasing in the recent years. In 2021, the closing rank for B.Tech. under general category for all India quota was 3259. In 2022, it increased to 3881. Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from 1584 to 1666 for OBC, 961 to 1248 for SC, 558 to 500 for ST, 610 to 862 for EWS, 86 to 165 for PWD. This trend is likely to continue in the coming years, as the demand for engineering education in India continues to grow. The last year 2022 cutoff ranks for Integrated BTech + M.Tech. in Aerospace Engineering at IIT Madras - Indian Institute of Technology other than General category were - 1957 for OBC, 836 for SC and 966 for EWS. While the admissions are based on the scores/rank obtained in JEE exam, the last cut offs also change a lot depending on All India quota or Home State. It also varies if the applicant is a female.

For 2022, cut off was 3881 for General category candidates in All India quota for B.Tech. in Aerospace Engineering in IIT Madras - Indian Institute of Technology. DOMS IIT Madras cutoff for the Management courses including MBA is based on valid CAT scores. For IIT Madras MBA admission, students must meet both the overall CAT cut off percentile and the sectional cut off.
