Satisfied with the faculty and management of the college.

Placements: In the college around 40-45% of the students gets placed for our course. The average package offered at this college was between 3-4 LPA. Top recruiting companies were TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Philips etc. Students were getting internship opportunities.

Infrastructure: Our college has a good infrastructure for our course. The college has Wi-Fi, labs, a library, canteen, hostel, sports, medical etc. Facilities for its students. All these facilities were properly maintained by the college management. The college offers all the modern facilities to the students for the best quality of learning.

Faculty: The faculty of the college were helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The quality of the teaching was good. The course curriculum of the IIITDM was relevant and also made the students industry-ready. Semester exams at our college were not hard to pass and the pass percentage was 80%.

My review on my B.Tech college.

Placements: As of now, placements are good. On a percentage of 90%. Most of the students from our college got placed with main companies like TCS, Wipro, Amazon, Flipkart and Google. As of now, our college's top package is around 54 LPA, on an average of 11.50 LPA for my branch.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are well hygienic and well maintained. According to accommodation, students can get full access to the library. In hostels, every room contains a LAN connection. Labs have well-equipped infrastructure. Our college encourages new talents in sports and games. And students get well-trained in games. Even our senior got selected to IPL from our college.

Faculty: My course curriculum is well structured. Our teachers are well qualified from top universities in India. People can have full access to their courses and will get well trained. Our curriculum makes us well-trained for more opportunities in top industries and top MNC companies.

Other: According to fests, don't have high expectations; there will be only two fests for the entire year.

Review of IIITDM from a mechanical student.

Placements: Placement is not that good or decent, and most of the students choose to do higher studies rather than get a job. The highest package on placement as far as I know is INR 25 LPA, and the least is INR 4 LPA so far. Samsung, Matlab, Altair, Ford, Google, Adobe, and AMD are some of the top recruiting companies. Most of them—around 85% of students—get internships.

Infrastructure: Facilities are good enough; we have a laboratory complex where almost all kinds of manufacturing machines can be found, and there are people to assist and teach to work on those machines. We have 3 hostel buildings with 14 floors; each hostel is not bad, and we have a 24/7 medical center.

Faculty: Like everywhere, we have both good faculty members and irritating faculty members. Even apart from class hours, faculty members are helping whenever needed, like for personal projects and stuff. Apart from the curriculum, there are technical clubs where we practically apply the concepts, which makes us ready for the industry.

Satisfied with the curriculum and the faculty.

Placements: As I am a second-year student, no one has got placed from our batch. I heard from our final year students that they have good placements with a salary package of 22 LPA. They told us that placements of our college have increased over the last few years. The highest salary package received was 55 LPA at Google, and it was offered off-campus.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure of our college is excellent. It has a 14-floors hostel, view from its balcony is amazing. Wi-Fi speed is 1 GBPS which is excellent. Library is air-conditioned so it feels good to study there. We have a cricket ground, football ground, basketball court, badminton hall, gym, etc. Food mess is average, once in a week, it is good.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and highly qualified. All the teachers are PhD graduates. The course curriculum is designed according to the advantage over other IIITs who do not have this course. But it is helpful only when you have an interest in it. Semester exams are hard but they follow a relative grading system so maintaining a decent CGPA is not so hard.

IIITDM Kancheepuram is one of the good colleges in India.

Placements: Approximately 60% of colleagues got internships. Some students opted for higher studies, while some got placements.

Infrastructure: As our college is not very old, the infrastructure is very good. Hostels are also well maintained. Wi-Fi speed is not up to the mark, but it is good. All classrooms are provided with internet facilities. Medical facilities are available in our institute only, so we don't have to go outside. The food served here is average.

Faculty: I am a mechanical engineering student here. There are really good faculty members here. All faculty members are highly educated, highly qualified and supportive. Their teaching quality is nice. This course is 100% relevant to the curriculum, and because of the practical work available in our course, we became perfect for the industry. Semester exams are a little bit hard.

Other: Our class strength is approximately 70-80 students. As I am a mechanical student, our college provides us with practical knowledge.
