Absolutely satisfied because of its sports and games.
Placements: In 2024 average package of my branch was around 24 LPA - 25 LPA The highest package is 1.68 crore per annum. Around 83% of students got placed. 352 companies visited the campus. Companies like Qualcomm, Uber, Goldman Sachs, and Google are among the top recruiters.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of our college is quite old. But is very good according to me. Wi-Fi is available at good speed on our campus. In library, all facilities are available like Wi-Fi, AC, silence, etc. Our hostel is also good. One room shared with 3 persons with 3 beds, 3 tables, 3 chairs. Mess food according to me is average and canteen is also good. Medical facilities are also available. You can play most of the sports and games in our college.
Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful, qualified, knowledgeable, and experienced. They have their own style of teaching which is very good. This curriculum is relevant. Semester exams are not that much hard but some papers like mathematics and engineering are quite hard.
Other: Actually I don't have too much idea about the branch. I chose this course on the recommendation of my brother. But now I think this course is actually best for me according to my interests.

Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi college review.
Placements: Placements at IIT BHU are a huge success. IIT BHU offers strong placement opportunities with a high placement percentage. Placements generally begin in the 7th semester. This year, 220+ people got PPO, and most of the mass got placed in the first 5 days of placement in December. We saw a huge diversity in companies that visit the campus for placements. Google, DeShaw, Oracle, Microsoft, Flipkart, Nvidia, Texas Instruments, Walmart, OLA, Zomato, Uber, Grow, PhonePe, Sprinklr are a few of them (a total of 250+ companies and profiles). Placement stats have improved a lot from the past year's recession period. TPRs are very friendly and supportive, and there is strict action against cheating in placements. Major profiles are Software, DA/this, Business/Consulting, Product, and Core. The highest (excluding PPOs) – DE Shaw 70 LPA, and Databricks 68 LPA for software profiles. Pace Stock Broking 75 LPA. The average package here is around 20-30 LPA. 10-20% companies: 7-12 LPA 40-50% companies: 13-21 LPA 30-40% companies: 22-40 LPA 10% companies: 45+ LPA Percentage of students getting placed: around 900+ already placed by the first week of December.
Infrastructure: Some hostels are old and need renovation, but major hostels are good, with good Wi-Fi LAN, geysers, vending machines, common rooms, canteens, cameras for security, badminton courts, big lawns, open surroundings, and greenery. There are plans to have ACs in common rooms as well. Meals are tasty and good, and we have a Satwik mess for only vegetarian food. The menu is nice. New hostels are being constructed: DG2 (7-floor boys' hostel, lift, 3-seater), Morvi-2 (9 floors, lift, 2-seater), IIT new girls' hostel, and many other hostels. Hostels' canteens are mostly open till 4 AM, so if your cravings speak after midnight, we got you covered. Some hostels are old, but renovation work is going on to improve them. Overall, the rooms are decent. First-year students get 3-seater rooms, while second-year students onwards have to stay in 2-seater rooms. No single rooms have been available until now.
Faculty: The faculty-to-student ratio at IIT BHU is 23:1. Faculty members are highly knowledgeable and experienced, with many holding doctoral degrees and having significant research contributions in their respective fields. The relationship between students and faculty is generally friendly and collaborative, with most professors being approachable for academic and research-related discussions. Semester exams: Mid-semester exams End-semester exams Mid-semester exams start approximately 1.5 - 2 months after the semester begins, and end-semester exams are approximately 1.5 months after mid-semester exams. The difficulty of exams depends on the professor. Semester exams are not too difficult if you study well. Some courses are easy, and one night of study is enough, while others are hard.

IIT BHU- Banaras Hindu University student review.
Placements: Around 82% of students got placed in our course. As we saw, even electrical students get a salary package of 1.68 CPA, and the highest salary package offered is 55 LPA. The average salary package offered is 25 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Google, Microsoft, McKinsey, and Goldman Sachs. The top roles offered are SDE and web develops.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is very bad. The Wi-Fi facility is poor compared to other IITs. Classrooms are not air-conditioned and the library does not have many books. The hostel is newly built on the campus so it is a little better now and good. The food quality in the mess and canteen is good but the taste is not that good.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified, knowledgeable, and very friendly. They are always ready to solve our doubts. The teaching quality of the lecturers is excellent. The course curriculum is excellent, and it makes students ready for industry which is why the placements are mind-blowing. The semester exams are moderate level, and the pass percentage is about 90%.
Other: I chose this course because I liked the concept of electricity which I learned during my JEE preparation. The best things about the course are about laboratories where we can learn practically and are involved in doing some projects we love so much. Some lecturers are not very qualified for the course they should replace them. The events and extracurricular activities in this college are outstanding.

Our college has good infrastructure.
Placements: Our college assures 100% placements, with all students securing positions in top companies. About 5% of students pursue higher studies. In our college, almost 90% of students are placed. The salary package offered is 27 LPA to 30 LPA and the average salary package offered is 14 LPA to 24 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Amazon, Ajio, Uber, Flipkart, etc., visit our campus. Top roles offered are embedded systems engineer and automation engineer.
Infrastructure: The lecture theatre is well-equipped. Classrooms and libraries are good. Books, textbooks, journals, and newspapers are available in the library. The library is accessible from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. The college also offers discussion halls, reading areas, Wi-Fi, and computer services for research. A garden is available at the hostel.
Faculty: Our teachers are experts in their respective fields. Many teachers are skilled in their teaching methods, and self-study is given importance. It's required to maintain around 75% attendance. The curriculum is structured to equip us for roles in the industry. Semester exams are difficult. A CGPA of 8.5 is required to pass. Our college follows a grading-based evaluation system.
Other: I chose this course because I liked mathematics, especially calculus, and because of my interest in physics, basically electrodynamics. It covers power systems, electronics, control systems, communication, and signal processing. Our top college offers a lot of different classes and activities. You can take humanities courses and choose electives that interest you. Our college conducts many fests such as Kashi Yatra, which is a cultural fest, Spardha, which is a sports fest, and Tech Nex, which is a test fest. The campus has lush greenery. The campus is well-connected by transportation. It's close to the heart of Varanasi and Banaras Hindu University.

Hello Sooraj, The admission in IIT is through entrance exam called JEE Advanced. But only those who score certain marks in JEE Mains are allowed to register for JEE Advanced. Also JEE Mains exam is already over. So now you can think of applying only next year.
