Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) will tentatively start recruiting for the Assistant Manager position in January 2025. DMRC releases vacancies almost yearly to recruit candidates against various positions. DMRC will release the advertisement on the official website to recruit for the Assistant Manager position. DMRC recruitment criteria are divided into two categories - executive and non-executive. The DMRC jobs also differ in nature, i.e., regular and contractual. The application form for DMRC recruitment through GATE has been released for the Assistant Manager (Civil)/Post Code: 01/AM/C/M&P post. The candidate would be posted in Mumbai or Patna on a contract basis for two years.

The aspirants who want to apply for DMRC recruitment through GATE 2025 must possess a valid GATE scorecard. GATE full form is Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering, which is an online test. To apply for the GATE exam, a candidate should possess a degree in engineering (any discipline).

Q:   What are passing marks in GATE exam?
A:

Passing marks in GATE exam is different for all 30 papers. The GATE qualifying mark for PSUs recruitment is also different. Candidates appearing in any GATE paper have to obtain the minimum mark in order to be declared qualified for the exam. Only qualified candidates are considered for admission to MTech/MSc/PhD programs and the MHRD scholarship. Candidates can check the previous year GATE cutoff for various papers on the Shiksha page or from the GATE official website.

Q:   What are the eligibility criteria for COAP?

It is advised that the candidates check the eligibility criteria before COAP 2023 registration. Applications from candidates who do not meet the eligibility conditions are liable to be rejected. Therefore, all candidates must fulfil all the eligibility conditions. Students applying for GATE 2025 can opt for two subject papers from the prescribed set of combinations. Earlier, the candidates could apply to appear in only one subject. As a candidate can appear in only two papers (only approved set) of the 30 papers for which the GATE 2025 will be conducted, they must carefully choose the papers they wish to write. A candidate is expected to appear in the papers appropriate to the discipline of his or her qualifying degree. However, he or she is free to choose any paper according to his or her admission plan, keeping in mind the GATE eligibility criteria of the institutions in which he or she wishes to seek admission. For more details regarding the admission criteria at any particular institute, the candidate is advised to refer to the websites of that institute. Those candidates opting for two paper combinations for GATE 2025 have a primary choice of paper as their default choice. The second choice of paper has to be chosen from the combinations allowed. Delhi Metro 2025 GATE Recruitment - Application Form

No, a GATE score of 40 marks is relatively low for IITs and popular branches like CSE, ME, EE, and ME. The score is considered below average. DMRC Registration

In the registration process, candidates have to enter name, mobile number, and email id. After that the login ID and password will be sent to the applicant’s email id and mobile number.

Filling DMRC Application Form

Login the account by using the login ID and password. Then fill the personal details; academic details; upload photo, signature, GATE admit card, GATE scorecard, Caste Certificate (if any), J&K Domicile Certificate (if any).

Delhi Metro Recruitment through GATE Selection Procedure

The selection procedure for the executive post is different from that for the non-executive post. The executive post is Assistant Manager, whereas Junior Engineer is a non-executive post. Check the details below.

  • Normalized marks obtained (out of 100) in the Civil Engineering (‘CE’) paper of GATE 2025.

NHCE Bangalore accepts GATE score for admission to M.Tech programme. However, it is not compulsory. Aspirants can also get into M.Tech course based on their Karnataka PGCET scores. Selected candidates have to confirm their seat by paying the course fees.

Candidates need to graduate from BTech at IIT Dhanbad with a minimum GPA of 8.0 or above to qualify for M.Tech admissions without GATE. Only the candidates who clear BTech from IIT Dhanbad are allowed admissions without GATE into M.Tech at II Dhanbad with the aforementioned score.

No, the GATE 2026 has already been concluded for IIT Dhanbad M.Tech admissions. The GATE 2026 registrations are closed in the month of October. Candidates who have appeared for GATE will need to wait for all merit-lists to be revealed.

The PhD admissions to the Institute Assistantship courses at IIT Guwahati require candidates to appear for the GATE or CEED. 

However, PhD admissions to the other categories of PhD courses at IIT Guwahati are not decided on the basis of the aforementioned entrance exams scores.

Bachelor's degree holder from IITs with a CGPA of 8.0 or above can get direct admission in M.Tech programme of IIT Dhanbad without GATE. The respective department reviews such applications and seats for such aspirants are supernumerary.

Yes, you can get M.Tech admission without a GATE  in Bangalore colleges through institute specific entrance exams. The seats are sponsored in IITs and NITS. Private and state universities also offer direct admissions via their own tests or merit.
