Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) will tentatively start recruiting for the Assistant Manager position in January 2025. DMRC releases vacancies almost yearly to recruit candidates against various positions. DMRC will release the advertisement on the official website to recruit for the Assistant Manager position. DMRC recruitment criteria are divided into two categories - executive and non-executive. The DMRC jobs also differ in nature, i.e., regular and contractual. The application form for DMRC recruitment through GATE has been released for the Assistant Manager (Civil)/Post Code: 01/AM/C/M&P post. The candidate would be posted in Mumbai or Patna on a contract basis for two years.

The aspirants who want to apply for DMRC recruitment through GATE 2025 must possess a valid GATE scorecard. GATE full form is Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering, which is an online test. To apply for the GATE exam, a candidate should possess a degree in engineering (any discipline).

Candidates should have scored a minimum of 60% marks /equivalent CGPA in BE/BTech (Civil) respectively from a Govt. recognized University/Institute, and must have appeared & qualified in the ‘CE’ paper of GATE 2025.

Q:   What are passing marks in GATE exam?

Passing marks in GATE exam is different for all 30 papers. The GATE qualifying mark for PSUs recruitment is also different. Candidates appearing in any GATE paper have to obtain the minimum mark in order to be declared qualified for the exam. Only qualified candidates are considered for admission to MTech/MSc/PhD programs and the MHRD scholarship. Candidates can check the previous year GATE cutoff for various papers on the Shiksha page or from the GATE official website.

Q:   What are the eligibility criteria for COAP?

Students applying for GATE 2025 can opt for two subject papers from the prescribed set of combinations. Earlier, the candidates could apply to appear in only one subject. As a candidate can appear in only two papers (only approved set) of the 30 papers for which the GATE 2025 will be conducted, they must carefully choose the papers they wish to write. A candidate is expected to appear in the papers appropriate to the discipline of his or her qualifying degree. However, he or she is free to choose any paper according to his or her admission plan, keeping in mind the GATE eligibility criteria of the institutions in which he or she wishes to seek admission. Q:   Can I get into IIT with 40 marks in GATE?
A: 

No, a GATE score of 40 marks is relatively low for IITs and popular branches like CSE, ME, EE, and ME. The score is considered below average. However, if you score around 40 marks in GATE, you can opt for a branch or institution with less competition. Otherwise, you can attempt GATE next year with more practice and revision.

Delhi Metro 2025 GATE Recruitment - Application Form

Candidates who are meeting the eligibility criteria can apply online for the DMRC recruitment. The application form will be available at www.delhimetrorail.com in the third week of January 2025. Candidates should not send the DMRC 2025 recruitment through the GATE application form either through post or through email. The application procedure comprises of the various stages such as - registration, filling application form, uploading of photo, signature, and required documents. DMRC Registration

In the registration process, candidates have to enter name, mobile number, and email id. After that the login ID and password will be sent to the applicant’s email id and mobile number.

Login the account by using the login ID and password. Then fill the personal details; academic details; upload photo, signature, GATE admit card, GATE scorecard, Caste Certificate (if any), J&K Domicile Certificate (if any).

Yes, IIT Madras has made it mandatory to register in DigiLocker for GATE 2027 registration. Ensure that the following details are updated properly.

  • Name

  • Date of Birth

  • Mobile Number

GATE is one of the accepting exams for admission in M.Tech at MIT School of Engineering and Sciences. It is mandatory for admission in M.Tech Fire Engineering. However, aspirants can also apply with PERA CET scores for admission in other M.Tech specialisations.
