GATE Login 2026: IIT Guwahati has activated GATE 2026 result link. The GATE 2026 result date was March 19. GATE 2026 login has been activated for GATE final answer key and exam result 2026. Read below to check complete details regarding GATE login and password details below.
GATE Login 2026: Result link for GATE 2026 is now available. Candidates who appeared for GATE 2026 exam on given dates, 7, 8, 14, and 15 can check their result at GOAPS. Students who appeared GATE can now download their final answer key now. Now, the login link is available for GATE result. The challenge facility was available from Feb 25 to 28.
The GATE was held on multiple dates. The Graduate Test in Engineering took place in two shifts: forenoon and afternoon, and students had reach the centre at least 90 minutes before the exam time. Candidates can check subject- wise GATE 2026 exam dates here.

GATE 2026 Result Login: How to access and download scorecard?
The IIT Guwahati has activated the result link at candidate login. The GATE result 2026 date was March 19. Candidates who appeared for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering can check their result at GOAPS using enrollment ID and password. The GATE scorecard 2026 is now available. The scorecard will be valid for three years, and candidates can use it for MTech admissions and PSU recruitment.

The MTech Engineering Entrance Exam is now over. The authorities have released the GATE answer key 2026 along with response sheet and question paper. With the help of GATE provisional answer key PDF, students can calculate their probable scores and check where they stand and institute options they get using GATE college predictor. The GATE 2026 answer key challenge was available from Feb 25 to 28. Candidates can access the answer key challenge at GOAPS portal.

GATE 2026 Login: Admit Card Download
Candidates who appeared for GATE exam must download their GATE hall ticket. The admit card will contain important details regarding candidate and exam/paper code. According to the GATE 2026 exam and shift timings, GATE CE-1, EE, ME, BM, and MT were scheduled on Feb 14, and GATE paper EC, AR, and DA was conducted on Feb 15. To download GATE exam admit card, students have to enter their enrollment ID and password, and reach the test centre along with the required documents, following a proper GATE dresscode guidelines.

What is GATE Login?
GATE login is an online portal facility for exam related activities. It is also called as GATE online application processing system (GOAPS). The portal is managed by the organising IIT, which is Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati. Through these, students can complete various GATE-related activities, such as registration, check entrance test updates, how to download GATE hall ticket, access results, PSU recruitment notifications, etc. However, without a login ID and password, no candidate can access Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering Login.
How to create GATE Login Credentials?
Steps to create GOAPS login for GATE exam is easy and simple. Registration of applicant is must to access GATE login. Credentials will be created at time of registration only. During this process, candidates have to provide following information -
- Candidate’s name
- Valid email ID
- Mobile number
- Password of their choice
Once registration is completed successfully, candidates will receive GATE enrollment ID on their email ID and mobile number. These will be your login credentials for future GATE login.
How to access GATE Login?
Official website of GATE login is goaps.iitg.ac.in. To access, candidates can follow steps below -
- Visit official website
- Click on GOAPS login link
- Enter enrollment ID and password
- Complete captcha (number verification)
- Click on submit option
After a successful login, candidates will be redirected to GATE dashboard. In the dashboard, students can check their enrollment ID, status, and option to download application form/hall ticket download/scorecard.

In case, any candidate has misplaced or forgets their GATE login password, then he/she can retrieve by following steps -
- Visit GOAPS GATE login and click on forgot password option
- Enter registered email ID or enrollment ID along with mobile number
- An OTP will be sent to their registered number
- Verify and set a new password.

The GATE counselling process starts after the announcement of results. The GATE counselling is conducted by COAP and CCMT. The COAP (Common Offer Acceptance Portal) is the counselling portal that offers admission to IITs.
While CCMT (Centralised Counselling for MTech/M.Arch/M.Plan) is the counselling portal that offers admission to NITs, IIITs, and other GFTIs.
COAP and CCMT 2026 counselling dates are now available for all rounds.
Indian Institute of Technology released GATE cutoff 2026. The IITG GATE 2026 result has been declared. The conducting body releases the exam result and cutoff for all 30 subjects. The cutoff is the minimum mark that is required for all candidates to qualify for the exam. IIT Guwahati announced GATE result 2026 on March 19.
The scorecard of GATE is valid for 3 years. However, many PSUs often restrict of using old GATE scorecard. Many PSUs accept GATE scorecard of current year or at least one year old result scorecard.

As we know, admission to the M.Tech programmes offered at NITs, IIITs, and CFTIs is done via CCMT counselling based on GATE scores. The conducting body for CCMT counselling changes every year. After the announcement of the organising body, candidates can check the result of the seat allotment on the official website.
The CCMT eligibility is mentioned below: - Candidates must have a valid GATE score - A minimum of 6.5 CGPA or 60% marks must be acquired in the qualifying exam (For General and OBC). -
For SC/ST/PwD category candidates, the eligibility is set at a minimum of 6.0 CGPA or 55% marks.
A GATE score of 550 in mechanical engineering will fetch you a rank range of 1500 - 3000. Students with this GATE score range can opt for M.Tech at NIT Calicut, NIT Trichy, etc.
Candidates who have passed GATE exam can download scorecard. The validity of GATE exam scorecard is three years. It is now available at GOAPS portal. Candidates use their enrollment ID and password to download.
