AAI (Airports Authority of India) has released the official notification for AAI recruitment through GATE 2025. The AAI GATE registration link was available till September 27. The notification is available on the official website. Candidates can check details related to AAI Recruitment through GATE for Graduate Trainees, such as the application form, dates, eligibility, and selection process, below.

AAI Recruitment through GATE 2021

AAI GATE Recruitment Date OUT: The Airport Authority of India (AAI) has started recruitment through GATE scores. Registrations were available from August 28 to September 27 for 976 Junior Executive Posts. Aspirants with GATE branches in civil, electrical, electronics engineering, and architecture are eligible for the post. To apply for this post, candidates must have a valid GATE score of 2025/2024/2023. 

The AAI GATE 2025 application fee is INR 300 (for the general category). Reserved category, female, and PwD candidates are exempted to pay the registration fee. Candidates can download the official notification and link (below) here.

Q:   Can I opt for any paper in the GATE two paper combination list?
A:

No, applicants cannot opt for any paper from the combination list. Candidates can only select from the options provided by the GATE authorities in the GATE 2026 paper combination list. For example, a CS student has the free will to choose from the following set of exam papers: DA, EC, GE, MA, PH, and ST. 

Q:   For how many GATE papers can I apply and how much will I have to pay?
A:

You can apply for two GATE papers (maximum). While filling out the GATE application form, you need to select the primary and secondary paper. The GATE secondary paper must be from the subject list prescribed by the GATE authorities. Before adding the paper, go through the subject combination list and GATE paper codes. 

Candidates opting for two GATE papers will have to pay double the fees mentioned -

For example,  

  • If a general category candidate is applying for two GATE papers, then he/she has to pay a fee of INR 4000 (during the regular timeline) and INR 5000 (during the extended period).
  • The same applies to the female, SC, ST, and PwD category candidates, INR 2000 (during the regular time period) and INR 3000 (during the extended period). 
Q:   How can I apply for IIT Kharagpur?
A:

Candidates willing to get admission to the IIT Khargapur must first register for the entrance exams. Then appear for the entrance exams. Then take part in the counselling round. Pay the admission fee at the selected and the allotted college. This is how a student can apply for various courses offered at IIT Kharagpur.

AAI Recruitment Job Profile

The candidates recruited through GATE usually work in CNS (Communication, Navigation, and Surveillance) departments. They look after various technical equipment installed at airports to aid flights, maintain security and perform other operations. The major task of the recruited engineers is to take readings continuously, keep a record, and maintain the desired performance. In case of failure or malfunction, they identify and repair the same.

AAI Recruitment through GATE: Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility conditions for AAI recruitment are listed below:

  • Must have Indian nationality and must not be older than 27 (for unreseved category)
  • For reserved (SC/ST) category, age relaxation of 5 years is applicable. For OBC, 3 years relaxation is applicable
  •  Upper age limit is relaxable by 10 years for PwBD candidates where the post is identified as suitable for the relevant category of disability, supported by a certificate of disability issued on or before 27.09.2025  by the Competent Authority. 
  • For Ex‐servicemen, age relaxation is applicable as per the rules prescribed by the Government of India.
  • Relaxation by 05 (Five) Years for the candidate who had ordinarily been domiciled in the State of Jammu & Kashmir during the period January 1, 1980, to December 31, 1989. Such candidates have to provide the certificate for the same issued by District Magistrate/Block Development Officer/Sub Divisional Officer at the time of document verification.
  • The Date of Birth mentioned in the Matriculation/Secondary Examination Certificate will only be accepted.

  • Final year or graduated students from a recognized institute / university in relevant stream are eligible.
  • Must have secured 60% marks in graduation.
  • For junior executive post GATE qualified is preferred

Q:   How can I get MBA admission at IIT Kharagpur?
A:

For admission to MBA at VGSOM (IIT Kharagpur), candidates need to qualify CAT followed by group discussion and personal interview round. The minimum CAT percentile required is 90 for general category students. For NC-OBC and SC/ ST/ PwD the minimum CAT percentile required is 80 and 75 respectively.

To be eligible for admission to MBA at VGSOM, candidates must have the following:

  • A bachelor’s degree of minimum 4-year duration in Engineering, Technology, Pharmacy, Medicine, or similar streams
  • OR a master’s degree in Science/ Economics/ Commerce (with Mathematics or Statistics at Bachelor’s level) with 60% aggregate (or CGPA of 6.5 on a 10-point scale) for General and NC-OBC candidates and 55% aggregate (or CGPA of 6.0 on a 10-point scale) for SC/ST and PwD category candidates.
  • Candidates appearing for the final year of the bachelor’s degree/ equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed degree requirements and are awaiting results can also apply

Selection of candidates for admission to MBA at VGSoM, IIT Kharagpur is a two-step process. The applicants are shortlisted based on eligibility criteria and called for an online Personal Interview (PI). Final admission to MBA is offered on the basis of a cumulative score of the Application Rating (AR), performance score in CAT, and the candidate’s performance in the online PI round. Q:   How much is the cost to apply for IITKGP's MBA admission?
A:

The IITKGP MBA admission process starts with filling out the application forms. As per the official website, the fee to apply for the PGDM (MBA) programme is INR 1,600 for general & NC-OBC candidates and Rs. 800 for SC/ST/PWD.

Q:   How can I apply for BTech at IIT Kharagpur?
A:

BTech aspirants must fill out the application form for JEE Main through the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA) i.e., (nta.ac.in). Followed by JEE Main, students are required to register for JEE Advanced. For this, candidates have to first login with their JEE Main 2026 application number and password. Next candidates have to fill in the registration form, upload scanned certificates, and pay the application fee. How to Apply for AAI Recruitment through GATE 2025?

Candidates interested in AAI vacancies will be required to follow the instructions below carefully before applying online:

Register first

  • Interested candidates can apply for AAI recruitment at https://www.aai.aero/. Complete the registration. You have to provide the information's like name, a valid Email ID, mobile number, GATE Year, Paper, Registration Number, All India Rank (AIR), Score and Marks (out of 100). Login credential is sent to email id.

Login to fill details

  • Log in using the username and password. 
  • Candidates must change the given password to one that is suitable to them.
  • After logging in, candidates should fill up the details left to complete the GATE 2025 application form.
  • Candidates must check all the filled-in details before submitting the application form.

Upload photo and signature

Candidates must upload their signature and photograph as instructed. The dimensions and specifications for the same are given below.

Make the payment of the application form

  • After uploading the documents and submitting the application form finally, candidates should wait for 24 hours to make the payment
  • Female/ Pwd/ SC/ST candidates need not pay the fees and can directly print their application form by going to the print option.
  • The application fees of Rs 300 are to be paid online through Internet Banking/Debit/Credit Card only from the State Bank Collect System.
  • Candidates must note the 10-digit Transaction Reference Number starting with “DU” that is generated after payment for their future reference.

AAI Recruitment - Selection Process

Candidates will be screened based on normalised GATE 2025 Scores. Shortlisted candidates will be called directly for document verification at the corporate headquarters in New Delhi.

  • The call letter for document verification will be sent to the candidates' registered email ID.
  • At the time of document verification, must produce their original and photocopies of the documents including a copy of the call letter, proof of identity, and original certificates. All photocopies must be self‐attested by the candidates.
  • Candidates employed in a Government/Semi‐Government/PSU establishment are required to produce a NOC from the current employer at the time of document verification.
  • Post document verification, the selection will be done as per the merit list prepared on the GATE 2025 Normalized Marks of applicants.
