GATE 2023 registration has begun on August 30, 2022. GATE 2023 will be held on February 4, 5, 11 and 12, 2023. In GATE 2023, subjects like Electronics and Communication, offer a huge scope for aspirants. Hence, preparing well for this subject would mean your chances of scoring well in GATE 2023 are higher, making it easier for you to get admission to postgraduate courses at some of India’s premier engineering colleges. These include Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs) or Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs). A good rank can also open up job opportunities at some of the leading Public Sector Units (PSU), including BHEL, BEL, SAIL, and ONGC. Most of the PSUs accept the GATE score.

As you begin to prepare for GATE, setting a time table is a must and following it is even more important. This schedule helps a candidate to study the complete syllabus within time and also revise at regular intervals. Including revision after a certain period of time is important as it will help an aspirant to remember previously completed topics and concepts. The schedule should also include solving previous years’ papers and online test series.
Be familiar with the syllabus
GATE 2023 ECE Syllabus is the guiding tool for a candidate’s preparation. Refer to the topics and concepts that are generally covered under Electronics and Communication Engineering exam. A student must analyse the syllabus thoroughly to understand the weightage of any topic. It will help them prioritise the study topics. However, it doesn’t mean that a few topics can be left. No, a duplicate GATE 2026 admit card will not be provided at the test center. Candidates must carry their own admit card along with the mentioned documents and items to the GATE exam center. IIT Guwahati will release the GATE admit card on January 2.
