Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE) is the application of science and mathematics to solve different problems and to research, design, develop, and test electronic equipment used in various systems. Engineers with specialization in Electronics and Communication also conceptualize and oversee the designing, development and manufacturing of communications and broadcast systems.

For admission to MTech courses of India’s top engineering colleges, the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is the top choice among aspirants. GATE 2023 is scheduled to be conducted on February 4, 5, 11, and 12, 2023. GATE 2023 registration has already begun online on August 30, 2022. The last date to apply for the exam will be September 30 and with a late fee amount of INR 500, the candidates can submit the GATE 2023 application form by October 7, 2022. This year, the conducting authority for GATE is the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur. The exam is likely to be conducted across nearly 200 cities in India.

GATE 2023 Eligibility Criteria: Electronics and Communications Engineering
It is important for every candidate aspiring for GATE 2023 to check the eligibility criteria prescribed for the exam by the authorities. No, a duplicate GATE 2026 admit card will not be provided at the test center. Candidates must carry their own admit card along with the mentioned documents and items to the GATE exam center. IIT Guwahati will release the GATE admit card on January 2.

As such, the GATE authorities have not mentioned anything regarding the black and white or colour printout of the GATE admit card to be carried or not. But it is better to carry a colour printout of the hall ticket to the exam centre Also, the admit card of GATE must be in A4 size format.
