GATE COAP 2021 Registrations begin today. Candidates who have qualified the GATE 2021 can register for COAP 2021 counselling here.

IIT Delhi has started GATE COAP 2021 registrations on the official portal i.e. coap.iitd.ac.in from March 25. Read below to know the details.

GATE COAP 2021: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi has started GATE COAP 2021 registrations on the official portal i.e. coap.iitd.ac.in from March 25. The authorities will conduct the COAP 2021 counselling from May 13.

Common Offer Acceptance Portal or (COAP) is the centralised counselling procedure conducted for admission to PG Engineering programmes offered by the IITs and IISc Bangalore. Candidates with valid GATE score from the year 2019, 2020 or 2021 will be eligible to participate in GATE COAP counselling 2021.

After registering on the portal, candidates will need to fill in their choice of programmes and institutes. On the official COAP 2021 portal, candidates will be able to check the seat allotment result done by the GATE participating institutes. There will be a total of five main rounds and four additional rounds for COAP counselling. GATE 2021 was conducted on February 6, 7, 13 and 14 and the result was announced on March 19.

For round 1-4 of the main rounds, candidates have all three options to select. However, candidates will not be able to choose Retain & Wait more than twice on a specific offer.

Round 5 is a Decisive Round, therefore the candidates will have only 'Accept and Freeze' and 'Reject' options to select.

IISc Bangalore GATE cutoff 2026 for the ECE course for the General AI category was 650 in round 1. For the OBC AI category, the round 1 cutoff for the same course was 600. This difference in the score says that the competiton for the General AI category was higher than the OBC AI quota.
