IIT Delhi has started GATE COAP 2021 registrations on the official portal i.e. coap.iitd.ac.in from March 25. Read below to know the details.
GATE COAP 2021: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi has started GATE COAP 2021 registrations on the official portal i.e. coap.iitd.ac.in from March 25. The authorities will conduct the COAP 2021 counselling from May 13.
Common Offer Acceptance Portal or (COAP) is the centralised counselling procedure conducted for admission to PG Engineering programmes offered by the IITs and IISc Bangalore. Candidates with valid GATE score from the year 2019, 2020 or 2021 will be eligible to participate in GATE COAP counselling 2021.

After registering on the portal, candidates will need to fill in their choice of programmes and institutes. On the official COAP 2021 portal, candidates will be able to check the seat allotment result done by the GATE participating institutes. There will be a total of five main rounds and four additional rounds for COAP counselling. GATE 2021 was conducted on February 6, 7, 13 and 14 and the result was announced on March 19.

* No, if you have already used Retain & Wait on the same offer twice. The same offer refers to the program "XYZ" of a particular Institute "ABC".

For round 1-4 of the main rounds, candidates have all three options to select. However, candidates will not be able to choose Retain & Wait more than twice on a specific offer.
Round 5 is a Decisive Round, therefore the candidates will have only 'Accept and Freeze' and 'Reject' options to select.

Additional Rounds A, B, C and D are independent rounds and each one is treated like a Decisive Round. That is, the candidates will have only 'Accept and Freeze' and 'Reject' options in these rounds.

Yes, COAP registration is mandatory for IIT Madras admissions done on the basis of GATE exam. The institute accepts GATE + COAP for both M.Tech and MA admissions. Any student choosing to register via GATE score at the institute must register on COAP portal as well.

The IIIT Bangalore GATE COAP Cutoff 2025 has been released for admission to the M.Tech course specialisations for all categories under the All India quota. For the General AI category candidates, the last round cutoff score ranged from 555 to 668, wherein M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering

Candidates can check their offer status using their login ID and password obtained during COAP registration. GATE COAP offers will be displayed on given date and time only, where students have to confirm their choices.

Candidates who have qualified GATE exam will be eligible for GATE COAP counselling. The counselling offer admission to IITs. The admission counselling registration is online and is done in multiple rounds depending on seat availability.
