
COAP Cutoff 2026: IIT Roorkee is currently conducting COAP counselling 2026. The Round III results have been declared. Candidates can login to the portal and submit their decisions before the due date. The COAP counselling portal is a platform to offer admissions to IITs and IISc along with few associated PSUs.
Candidates who have qualified Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering can participate in COAP 2026. The official website is coap2026.iitr.ac.in. All IITs offer MTech seats to the GATE-qualified candidates via the Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP).
Candidates can check and accept offers using COAP. After each round, IITs updates the GATE 2026 admission cutoff on their official website. It is mandatory to register on the portal to generate COAP ID. Read below to know more about COAP 2026 cutoff.

Candidates can check GATE COAP 2026 counselling cutoff (round-wise) details below. Only qualified candidates are eligible for COAP counselling. The GATE exam result was declared on March 19. Candidates can check their GATE 2026 result using their enrollment ID and password.

Factors Affecting IIT MTech COAP 2026 Cutoff

Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP)
COAP is conducted for admission to MTech courses offered by IITs. Depending upon the selection process, some participating Institutes may skip, some offer release window(s), and offers may be released in subsequent window(s). Further, some institutes may operate additional round(s). The procedure followed for offers will be described on the respective institute's website for extra rounds.

GATE Cutoff Trends for COAP IIT MTech admissions -
The COAP is responsible to offer admission to MTech courses in IITs. After the declaration of GATE exam results, many IITs start registration process on their respective websites. As per the previous year's cutoff trends, it is observed that -
- A GATE score of 650+ is considered safe to get admission to IITs.
- For top branches and disciplines, such as CSE, ECE, EE, ME, and CE, a GATE score of 750+ has higher chances of getting admission.
- For category-applicants, GATE score above 400 to 550+ can be considered safe for admission to IITs.
- For top IITs like IIT Bombay and IIT Madras, candidates must at least secure 65+ marks.

IISc Bangalore GATE cutoff 2026 for the ECE course for the General AI category was 650 in round 1. For the OBC AI category, the round 1 cutoff for the same course was 600. This difference in the score says that the competiton for the General AI category was higher than the OBC AI quota.
