JEE Main 2020 exam centres in Mumbai

JEE Main 2020 admit card is going to be released online by the National Testing Agency today. The admit card contains the details of exam centre and other important details related to the exam. As the JEE Main 2020 exam is online (computer-based), it is important for the exam centres to have computers connected well with the JEE Main exam server. It is so as in past students reported that they faced problems during the exam due to bad server connectivity or any other technical glitch.

Moreover, it is also found that few of the students were assigned the JEE Main exam centre quite far from their residence and they also faced problems in finding it. Aspirants also reported earlier that the entered to a wrong exam centre as there were more than two exam centres with similar names.

How to Check Exam Centre Location

It is usually difficult for students to find out the exact location of exam centre that results into late arrival at the venue. To avoid any such situation, the exam conducting authority, NTA, has provided a link for students to check the exact location of JEE Main exam centre on google map last year. Candidates can click on the links given below and check for the possible exam centres in their city. Candidates can follow the steps below to check the location of the JEE Main exam centre.

  • Type your city in the space provided
  • Choose the exam centre code mentioned on your admit card
  • Click on “View Location”
  • A new page of google map will open with the location of exam centre.

JEE Main 2020: Exam Day Guidelines

  • JEE Main aspirant will not be allowed to carry pen/pencil in the exam hall
  • Pen/ Pencil and blank paper sheets for rough work will be provided in the examination room
  • Candidates must write their name and roll number at the top of the sheet and return the sheets and admit card to the Invigilator, before leaving the examination hall
  • Diabetic students will be allowed to carry eatables like sugar tablets/fruits and transparent water bottle to the examination hall/room. However, they will not be allowed to carry packed foods like chocolates/candy/sandwich etc,
  • Candidates will have to sit on the seat allocated to them
  • Candidates will be allowed to appear at the allotted venue of test only
  • Wearing a watch inside the exam hall is not allowed.
  • No candidate will be allowed to enter the exam centre once the exam starts
  • Candidates without an admit card will not be allowed to appear for the exam
  • Leaving exam hall before closure/end of the exam is not permitted
  • Request for change in JEE Main 2020 exam centres will not be entertained

Yes, students have a decent chance of getting admission in RGPV Bhopal with 80 percentile in JEE Main through DTE MP counselling. However, to get admission in top branches, such as CSE, this may not be enough. Students can check the past year cutoffs to know more.
