In the last month, practicing mock tests and previous years questions are important for every aspirant to score well in competitive exams.
SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination (SRMJEEE) is conducted for admissions in various BTech programmes in SRM Institute of Engineering and Technology. I think the last month of preparation is crucial for every student. At the time of my preparation, I knew that the last month before the exam is important and I took it as a challenge. During the last month of preparation, I used to focus on completing the tasks within the defined time to analyse my preparation and boost confidence. Just like JEE Main, the competition in SRMJEEE is high. Therefore, students should prepare in the same manner.
Choose the study materials which provide accurate data and information, latest model papers, syllabus, sample papers and highlight the important topics and concepts. For engineering subjects, one could refer to JEE Main study materials. I also referred to JEE Main books while preparing for SRMJEEE.

JEE Main standard books with authors
- Physics - H C Pandey and D.C Verma
- Maths and Chemistry by Cengage Publications
- English - Verbal Ability by R. S. Agarwal
- Aptitude - Quantitative Aptitude by R. S. Agarwal
- Also, practice SRMJEE previous years question papers from 10 years Chapter-wise Solutions by MTG Learning Private Limited
Moreover, the students should focus not only on engineering subjects but also on other subjects like English as well as Aptitude. Preparing these subjects would help in improving the scoring and rank. English and Aptitude section carries 15 marks and these 15 marks play a crucial role in getting a better rank which would lead to allotment of the seat during admissions. As there is no negative marking in this exam, so the students could try to attempt all the questions without any hesitation. Hence, students should focus on covering all the topics during preparation.
In the last month, the students should practice ten years of previous year question papers to get a proper idea of the type of questions that might come in the exam. One could split the topics into three sections like most expected, expected and topics may or may not expect. Prioritise the most important and most expected questions and after completion of these topics move onto the next topic. Apart from these, daily spend at least one hour for preparing English and Aptitude. Also, practice solving the questions of these sections within the prescribed time. During the last days of preparation write mock tests daily and complete the same within the time limit. Try to attempt a minimum of two papers each day. Give time to clarify doubts and analyse the weak areas.
Understanding the pattern of the examination is important for every student. The exam pattern includes syllabus, subjects, marking scheme, etc. Now we will discuss the examination structure in detail.
- The name of the examination is Sri Ramaswamy Memorial Joint Engineering Entrance Examination

When I was preparing for SRMJEE, I prepared for Class 12th and SRMJEEE simultaneously. I used to pick-up and study similar topics from both the syllabuses. After completion of the syllabus, I gave mock tests for both the exams. Last days of preparation are very important for both board and entrance examination. Hence, students must prepare with diligence.

No, the fees is not stable for 4 years. You should carry a certain CGPA throughout 4 years like 7.5 or 8.0 as mentioned by SRMAP.
