DTU review overall, placements are good, teachers are average, and the infrastructure is good.
Placements: The placement percentage is 70%. The average package is 20.02 LPA, and the highest package is 84.3 LPA. Various big companies, like Microsoft, Google, and Apple, visit the campus. However, if you are from a lower branch, campus placements for SDE roles are difficult. Mostly, lower-branch students get into non-tech roles.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, and the hostels are manageable. Labs are good and equipped with all essential tools. The library has a great catalog of books. You will have all facilities required for students. The overall college experience is good, so you can consider the college.
Faculty: Teachers are good. Exams are sometimes difficult to manage as the breaks between exams. But on regular days, you will have an ample amount of free. You can consider the college if you want to pursue something alongside your engineering, as you will have ample free time here.

Strong placements, expert faculty members, modern infrastructure, and vibrant and amazing
Placements: In 2024 around 70-80% of students of tech branches got placed and in 2023 this number was 65-70%. But if we talk about non-tech branches this data was declining due to less number of PSU's and core companies visits. The highest package in 2024 was 82.5 LPA domestic and international package was 1.8 CR. The lowest package is 6 LPA and average package is 20 LPA. Top recruiters are Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, TCS, and Apple these are tech giants, and in consulting are Deloitte, McKinsey, KPMG, etc. In civil engineering, top roles offered are structural engineer, design engineer, geotechnical engineer, and many more.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi availability in the library is good. But in hostel, it is quite bad and classrooms are good. Especially new built like Twin Tower which has all the facilites. All the classrooms are fully AC and whiteboards white with projector and sufficient space. Hostels are quite concerning and the mess is also the same.
Faculty: All faculty members are qualified and cooperative. Their knowledge and wisdom help students to crack placements. Some of the professors also try to help students to get internships. Course curriculum is same as other colleges so you expect the same relevancy. Semester exams are hard personally I think math and electrical engineering these subjects require in-depth knowledge of concepts. Exam passing percentage according to new criteria is 33% you have to score 33% in mid-semester, end-semester, and internal individual to get a pass.
Other: Regularity of professors can make courses better like civil engineering where most of the time professors send their Ph.D. students not come with them.

Smart students and seniors.
Placements: Less than 50 percent, it is around 46% got placed. The highest package is 19.2 LPA, the lowest I don't know, and the average is 8.58 LPA. Recruiting company is L&T. If considering on campus then it is less than 20%. Top roles offered are in construction management in core, analyst in non-tech.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is there, doesn't work properly in most of the campus so we still have to rely on personal internet. Labs are pretty good, classrooms are well-maintained. Library is highly maintained. Quality of hostel is average, the food is also average but better than many other hostels out there. Food in canteen is great, not sure about the medical facilities, I never got to need them. Sports and games complex is huge and well-maintained.
Faculty: Teachers don't care which is the best thing, if considering teaching quality it is very poor. The course curriculum is relevant but we have to study from YouTube and make students industry-ready. Exams are very difficult, but the pass percentage is around 85% on average.
Other: I chose it because I wanted to study in a tier 1 college among high-rank holders. The best thing about my course is attendance is there, but it is very chill I go only to give exams and sometimes in labs, I wish attendance could be totally eliminated. Events fests are great, amazing, and famous as well. Crowd is decent. Connectivity is a little bad, the nearest metro is Rithala which is a little far from college, surroundings are below average. Scholarship is awful I didn't get any. Extracurricular activities are conducted.

Hostels are also well maintained in terms of cleanliness and accessibility. Mess is not that good for students but have decent quality.
Faculty: DTU has some awesome faculty members. Many professors have 30-40 years of experience. Some are Ph.D. scholar but their teaching skills are also fabulous. DTU curriculum is also good, not very good because they do not change their curriculum. Exams level is medium 60-70% of students get passed.

Good campus life but placement statistics are not good.
Placements: Placement statistics are poor. I heard not even 50% of students got placed. Engineering production got the lowest placements. Civil engineering states are also low. Total of 1187 students placed on campus till now. The highest in 2023-2023 was 18 LPA, and the average salary was 10.31 LPA.
Infrastructure: As a first-year student in civil engineering in 2nd semester, the SPS classes are not that much good as that of AB classes and PB classes. AB classes are the best and then PB. In Physics lab some instruments do not work and some of the machines are not workable. Wi-Fi works too low and sometimes 0. Library is good, it has AC and is nicely built. Hostel food is average and sometimes too bad. Sports complex is quite great but you have to own your own things, they do not provide us. Medical facility is fine.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful. Most of the time when you come from school to college then teachers tell you about the criteria and how the paper is set. Yet some are really good and tell about how much is coming and some don't. Some are really good at teaching and some don't. Course curriculum does not make the students ready for the industry. Semester exams are sometimes PYQ based which is easy at least for maths. Yet some subjects like engineering graphics, C programming, electrical engineering, mechanics of solid, etc., require much attention.
Other: I chose it because of DTU's brand name. Yet everyone knows civil engineering for girls is not considered a good and an easier branch. The best things are the experiences in civil engineering like doing welding, sheet metal shops, molding, and new experiences in construction and design. It would be better if my course had better placement statistics. Events are good but DU crowd is much more than DTU's like we cannot enjoy and win fest due to them.

Well you have cleared your boards exam with 77% but your JEE Mains marks are very low. Having SC category quota might help you to get a college for civil engineering.

No, there is no benefit without NCC certificate. You need to have a valid JEE Mains score and more than 60% in 12th.

The answer would be, yes. You are eligible to apply. But you wouldn't get admission as the cut-offs of DTU are really high. Unless you are planning to drop for a year, I would suggest you go for some local college.

The only way to get admission in DTU for Diploma holders is the entrance test that is LEET. I am a student of DTU, so as of now, no notice has been released but you can expect the application form out in the month of June and the test date will be in June itself.
Result will be declared in July and
