CTET Salary for PRT/ TGT/ PGT Teachers: Candidates who are interested in teaching jobs and want to clear the CTET exam must have understanding about the CTET salary. Those teachers who will be qualified will be appointed as Primary Teachers (PRT), Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT) or Post Graduate Teachers (PGT). They receive pay along with various allowances. According to the 7th Pay Commission the monthly salary ranges from INR 9300 to INR 34,800 and it depends upon the post. However, the net pay salary can raise up to INR 48,000 per month.

What to do after CTET Exam 2026?

CTET exam: Candidates who want to teach Classes 1 to 5 need to give Paper 1. On the other hand, aspirants who plan to teach Classes 6 to 8 need to take Paper 2. Candidates who qualify the CTET exam are awarded a CTET certificate, which is valid for seven years.
