No, there is no upper age limit to take the CTET exam. Candidates above 18 years of age can apply for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test. CTET stands for Central Teacher Eligibility Test. It is a national-level eligibility exam conducted by the CBSE. Candidates should satisfy their eligibility before applying for the exam.
The highest score in CTET is 150. The CTET 2026 exam is of 150 total marks. Getting the full 150 marks is considered as the highest score in the exam as there is no negative marking. However, to qualify for the CTET exam, a candidate belonging to General category needs to score a minimum of 60 per cent marks in the exam. Reserved category candidates such as, SC, ST & OBC need to obtain 55 per cent marks to clear the exam.
