CTET Salary for PRT/ TGT/ PGT Teachers: Those candidates who are preparing for the CTET exam should know about the salary structure. It is an important component as those who qualify as teachers and appointed as PRT, TGT or PGT receives a competitive pay along with various allowances. According to the 7th Pay Commission, monthly salaries range between INR 9,300 to INR 34,800 and it depends upon the post. Along with the salary they receive several allowances. However, the net pay salary can raise up to INR 48,000 per month.

What to do after CTET Exam 2026?

CTET exam: Candidates who want to teach Classes 1 to 5 need to give Paper 1. On the other hand, aspirants who plan to teach Classes 6 to 8 need to take Paper 2. Candidates who qualify the CTET exam are awarded a CTET certificate, which is valid for seven years.
