SSC GD Constable 2026: The application process of SSC GD 2026 exam is underway for a total of 25487 vacancies. The notification along with the application form was released on December 1. SSC GD notification PDF comprises the details related to the exam. Eligible candidates can fill the SSC GD online form till December 31. The eligibility criteria contribute to the higher number of applications for the exam because the educational requirement is Matric/ High School only. There is an SSC GD age limit of 18 to 23 years. SSC GD Notification & Application

The official SSC GD notification is the first information about the number of vacancies, exam dates, eligibility criteria, exam pattern, syllabus and other important information. The candidates must read the SSC GD Constable notification to understand all the eligibility conditions.

SSC GD Admit Card

SSC GD Constable admit card is issued four days before the exam. Candidates need to download the SSC GD Constable admit card by entering the required login credentials and date of birth. The admit cards for PET/PST and DME/RME are uploaded by the CRPF. 

SSC GD Computer-Based Exam

SSC GD CBE is the first of the three selection stages. SSC GD computer-based exam is conducted at designated exam centres across the nation. The test carries 100 objective-type questions for 160 marks.

SSC GD PET/PST

Based on the performance of CBE, candidates are shortlisted for physical tests such as PET and PST. The SSC GD physical test is qualifying in nature. The test is conducted at various centres finalised by the CRPF.

SSC GD DV/ DME

SSC GD Exam Centre

SSC GD Computer-Based Examination (CBE) requires dedicated internet connectivity and cybersecurity. Hence, special examination centres are designated for the exam. The SSC GD CBE is conducted online in over 50 cities. Candidates need to choose three SSC GD exam centres while filling out the online application form. Based on the selected exam centres, the candidate is allotted a particular exam city centre. However, the Commission reserves the right to allot or change the examination centre at any point before the exam.

The SSC GD Constable exam carries a total of 160 marks. The SSC GD exam (CBE) comprises a total of 80 questions of 2 marks each. Candidates are awarded +2 marks for each correct answer in the SSC GD Constable exam. Candidates get to know the correct answers from the official SSC GD answer key. However, only correct answers are not counted for SSC GD results. There is a negative marking for each incorrect answer marked by candidate.

The SSC GD Constable DV/ DME 2025 dates have not been announced yet. However, it is expected that the SSC GD medical exam will start in November 2025. The CRPF will soon announce the dates for the Constable DME exam after the declaration of PET/ PST result.
