AIBE 20 COP: The Bar Council of India (BCI) will grant the AIBE 20 Certificate of Practice (CoP) to all candidates who successfully clear the AIBE 20 exam. The candidates will be able to collect the certificates of practice directly from their respective State Bar Council. Only those who meet or exceed the AIBE 20 cutoff marks will be eligible to receive their CoP. The BCI conducted the AIBE exam on November 30, 2025, from 1 PM to 4 PM. The exam was conducted at the test centres as provided on each candidate's hall ticket.
A Certificate of Practice is issued by the Bar Council of India under Section 24(1)(b) of the Advocates Act, 1961. It certifies that an individual is qualified and can practice law in India. It is issued to aspirants who successfully clear the exam. The BCI has made it mandatory that all advocates obtain a CoP within three years of their provisional enrollment with a State Bar Council. If they don't do that, it can result in suspension of practice rights.

Documents Required to Enroll in a State Bar Council
The list of documents needed to enroll in a state bar council are as following:
- Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets
- LL.B. degree and all semester mark sheets
- An attendance certificate from your law college/university
- Passport-size photographs in formal attire
- Character certificate
- Photo ID & proof of date of birth
- Address proof
- Affidavit as per State Bar Council requirement
