
All India Bar Examination is conducted to check the suitability of the candidate to practice in the courts of Law in the nation. The Bar Council of India conduct the AIBE every year to award the Certificate of Practice(CoP) to the qualified candidates. Those who clear the AIBE can only practice as a Lawyer in the courts of law in a permanent way.
AIBE Registration Form 2026 was activated on the official exam portal - allindiabarexamination.com. Candidates can fill the AIBE registration form 2026 till October 27. The last date to pay the AIBE registration fee is October 28. As per the official calendar, the AIBE exam date 2026 is November 29.
Important Note: Candidates who failed in the AIBE XX or XXI examinations are not required to register again. Such applicants may log in using their existing User ID and Password. They can fill and submit the AIBE XXII application form using their previous registration details.
The BCI will conduct the AIBE 22 nationwide in offline mode at the designated exam centres. The candidates need to mark their answers on the OMR sheet provided by the exam conducting authority.

What is AIBE Exam?
The All India Bar Examination is conducted twice a year (from this year) by the Bar Council of India for law graduates seeking to start their practice as lawyers.
The exam is conducted to check candidates' basic-level knowledge and understanding of Law subjects, establish a benchmark for entering the practice of law, and test the candidates' analytical skills. Law students must pass this exam to get their Certificate of Practice (COP).

AIBE Registrations 2026
The AIBE registrations were started on the official exam website of the Bar Council of India on August 19. The candidates already registered for AIBE 20 and AIBE 21 can use their existing registration credentials to fill the AIBE application form.
