What is SLAT?
Symbiosis International University conducts the SLAT, also known as the Symbiosis Law Admission Test, as a requirement for enrollment in its BA LLB and BBA LLB programmes. The SLAT Test 1 in 2023 was held on May 6 of that year. However, the SLAT 2023 Test 2 was conducted on May 14, 2023. Both exams were conducted through computer-based testing (CBT).

Commonly asked questions
The SLAT 2023 analysis was prepared based on student reactions and reviews by experts. They provided in-depth overview of the exam for each subject.
The common eligibility for LLB course is 10+2 with the recognised board with 45% marks. 5% relaxation is for SC/ST students.
SLS Pune offers admission to BA-LLB and BBA-LLB programs through SET exam. Interested candidates who passed 10+2 or equivalent from any recognised Board with a minimum of 50% marks (SC/ST: 45% marks or equivalent grade) can apply.
For general students there is no relaxation so be better in the safer side by having more than 50 percent marks in the academics.
The SLAT 2023's Reading Comprehension section was the simplest. In the Reading Comprehension section of the SLAT 2023, questions related to articles from newspapers like "The Hindu" and "Times of India" were asked. Candidates were required to apply their knowledge of sentence structure and vocabulary of the English language to solve questions related to the Reading Comprehension section of SLAT 2023. Thus, the knowledge of English Grammar and vocabulary helped them to perform well to solve the section.

- GK was the toughest section of the question paper for SLAT 2023 Test 2. However, the overall difficulty level of the section was moderate.
- The questions in the GK section were asked on topics related to sports.
- Logical Reasoning and Analytical Reasoning sections were easy to moderate in terms of difficulty.
- Questions in the Reading Comprehension were based on news articles.
Main Features of SLAT 2023 Question Paper
- The GK section's questions were static. They were based on the ancient and mediaeval history of India.
- The Ukraine-Russian War was a topic covered in the GK section as well. The majority of test-takers thought the SLAT 2023 exam's GK section to be the most challenging.
- The sections on Logical and Analytical reasoning were fairly simple.
- The SLAT 2023's Reading Comprehension section was the simplest. In the Reading Comprehension section of the SLAT 2023, questions related to articles from newspapers like "The Hindu" and "Times of India" were asked.
- The entrance exam included questions from mathematics, much like the previous year. These questions were as challenging as Class 10 Maths problems.
SLAT 2023 Student Reaction
As per the opinions of SLAT 203 exam takers, the law entrance exam was moderately difficult. GK was the toughest section because the syllabus for this subject is not specified. Thus, while preparing for SLAT, future exam takers must prepare for static GK, current GK, and World GK. They also need to note that the GK questions are asked from the main books available for the preparation of law entrance exam. Thus, it is possible to cark the GK section of the SLAT exam with the help of continuous practise. Other sections are easy to moderately difficult. Thus, preparation for these sections requires candidates to develop their logical and analytical thinking and the knowledge of the English language by studying the right books for SLAT preparation. They also need to get a strong grip on the topics of mathematics, such as profit, loss and discount, simple interest and compound, time and work, speed and distance, and number systems, to prepare for SLAT.
