SLAT 2027 is computer based entrance exam conducted by Symbiosis International University in two phases for undergraduate law programs. Candidates can check SLAT Legal Reasoning 2027 syllabus, key topics, exam pattern, preparation tips, and books to increase your SLAT exam score.
SLAT Legal Reasoning 2027
SLAT 2027: Symbiosis International university has started SLAT 2027 registration on August 21, 2026, at official website slat-test.org. Last date to submit SLAT 2027 application form is December 4, 2026. SLAT 2027 will be conducted in two phases. Phase 1 will be held on December 19, 2026 and Phase 2 on December 26, 2026.
Candidates can appear for both tests and higher of two scores will be taken as final result. Admit cards for Phase 1 and Phase 2 will be released on December 11 and December 18, 2026. SLAT 2027 result will be released around January 12, 2027.

The SLAT merit list for a particular year is a list containing the name, registration number, and roll number of the candidates who achieved marks equal to or higher than the SLAT cut-off for the SLAT entrance exam conducted in the same year. The SLAT cut-off is made up of scores secured by candidates in the SLAT exam, PI and What. A merit list includes the name, roll number, registration number, collective marks secured by them in SLAT What, and PI their merit rank, and category. Based on the selection of candidates in the SLAT merit lists for a particular 5-year LL.B. Programme, seats are offered to each candidate. They need to book their respective seats by paying the admission before the due date ascertained by the SLS from whose merit list they get selected.
To become a topper of the SLAT exam, a candidate needs to attempt all the questions asked. There is no negative marking in SLAT. Thus, attempt all the questions.
Candidates can prepare for SLAT from Class 11 by practising topics from which questions are asked in the exam. The topics of subjects from which questions are asked in SLAT are Logical Reasoning, Legal Reasoning, Analytical Reasoning, Reading Comprehension (English), and General Knowledge. Under the General Knowledge subject, SLAT aspirants also need to study static GK related to History, Geography, Indian and International Politics, and United Nations Organisation (UNO) and its bodies, and current affairs. To study the mentioned subjects for SLAT preparation from Class 11, candidates can purchase books containing sample papers, practice tests, and mock tests based on the SLAT syllabus and pattern. They can devote 1-2 hours every day to SALT preparation. Preparing for the SLAT from Class 12 can provide aspirants with a competitive edge because they will have more than a year to prepare for the entrance exam effectively.
