SLAT 2026 will be conducted for admission to 5-year integrated LLB courses at the four most reputed Law Schools under Symbiosis International (Deemed) University (SIU). The SLAT 2026 application process requires aspirants to be aware of the documents required for SLAT 2026 registration.
List of Documents Required for SLAT 2026 Application
SLAT exam is scheduled to be held on, December 20, 2025 and December 28, 2025 at the designated centres across the country. SLAT 2026 will be accepted by four SLSs namely, SLS, Pune, SLS Noida, SLS Hyderabad, SLS Nagpur situated across the nation.
Symbiosis International (Deemed) University (SIU) requires candidates registering for the Symbiosis Law Admission Test 2026 should go through the list of documents required for the SLAT exam before heading to apply to avoid any last-minute rush. Candidates must avoid uploading unclear, improper, or out-of-date certificates. SLAT does not occur twice a year, but it takes place on two consecutive dates within the same session. Candidates have the option to appear in either or both. The best attempt from the two will be considered to prepare the merit list. SLAT 2027 exam will be held on:

SLAT 2026 refers to the Symbiosis Law Admission Test which is conducted by the four SLSs (Symbiosis Law Schools) in India. The SLAT exam is conducted on two dates and candidates will have the option to appear in both of one. The best score among the both will be considered for preparing the merit list & result.
Documents Required for SLAT 2026 Registration
Candidates aspiring to register for the exam must keep the following documents ready before applying for the exam:
- Scanned Passport-size photograph (Recent, clear – JPEG, JPG format). Your photograph should not be more than 06 months old.
- Scanned Signature (Black/blue ink on white paper – JPEG format)
- Valid Email ID and mobile number
- Class 10 mark sheet
- Class 12 mark sheet (If passed)
Other Documents Required During Later Stages of SLAT 2026 Admission
- Valid ID Proof (required during admit card verification)
- Category certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD – if applicable, required during PI & Admission process)
- Domicile certificate (if applying under state quota)
- BPL certificate (for BPL category applicants)
- Valid Photo ID proof (Aadhaar, Passport, PAN, Voter ID, etc.)

Why SLAT 2026 Documents are important?
\The following is the importance of SLAT 2026 documents:
- Helps during identity and eligibility verification
- Establishes identity on the exam day as SLAT admit card details are fetched from the documents provided during SLAT registration
- Reduces last minute stress and chances of rejection: any error in the document may jeopardize the candidature; by preparing a set of documents in advance may help sail through the process smoothly.
- Helpful during Personal Interview and Admission: candidates claiming reservation will also require certain documents including caste certificates during final verification process.
Both the exams, SLAT & CLAT are based on the 10+2 level syllabus and candidates may find both the exams' difficulty on the same level. The syllabus for both the exam also stands on a similar page and the exams consist of questions from Logical and legal reasoning, analytical reasoning, reading comprehension, & General Knowledge. Candidates can appear for both the exams to increase their possibility of admission to the top colleges in India.
To be eligible for the SLAT exam, candidates should pass 10+2 exam from any recognised board. Candidates from the general or open category must have scored 45%.
SLAT exam authority uses University Grants Commission (UGC) guidelines for SLAT reservation policy. As per the exam authority, the total percentage of reserved seats for Scheduled Caste (SC) candidates is 15. The total percentage of seats reserved for Scheduled Tries candidates in SLAT is 7.5%. The exam authority has reserved 5% of seats for wards of Defence Personnel at Symbiosis Law School Pune. The reservation facility for wards of Defence personnel is not available at the other three Symbiosis Law Schools. Moreover, 3% of total seats are reserved for Different Able candidates in all SLSs through SLAT.

The expected SLAT 2026 cutoff for top Symbiosis Law School campuses is around 45–52 marks out of 60 for SLS Pune and about 42–48 marks for SLS Noida. For other campuses, like SLS Hyderabad (38–44) and SLS Nagpur (35–41).

A score of 30 in SLAT 2026 is kind of average, not too high or too low. It depends on the SLAT cut off 2026 for each Symbiosis Law School (SLS). For SLS Pune or Noida, cut off usually goes higher. But for SLS Hyderabad or Nagpur, 30 might still work fine if the SLAT merit list 2026 allows.
