Types of PSUs hiring through CLAT 2027 score
PSUs in the country are categorised in four types based on parameters like listing in the Indian Stock Exchange, global presence, annual revenue, and income generated. Companies under different categories are given in the table below:
- Maharatna: Companies that have an annual turnover of INR 20,000 crore on average for three years and an average net worth of the combined value of assets of INR 10,000 crore will be called a maharatna company.
- Navratna: CPSEs with a Schedule A along with a Miniratna Category 1 status can be eligible for Navratna, which gives power to the PSU to invest up to INR 1,000 crore without government approval.
- Mini-Ratna: CPSEs that have made profits in the last three years continuously and have a positive net worth are eligible for Mini-Ratna grant status.
