Maharashtra Common Entrance Test for Law is conducted for admissions to Law courses offered at participating Law colleges in Maharashtra. The MH CET Law exam is conducted in an online mode for two hour duration. The question paper will have 120 multiple-choice questions. Through the entrance exam, Law aspirants are shortlisted for admissions to 10,860 seats (excluding management intake) for the 5-year LLB program and around 16,420 seats for the 3-year LLB courses programmes.

How to Apply for MHCET Law? 

• Visit the MAH CET Cell official website
• Click on "New Registration" tab to register 
• Already registered candidates need to click on the "Already Registered" tab and proceed with the application process. 
• After completing the registration, log in again. 
• Fill out the application form. 
• Upload your passport-size photo and signature. 
• Submit the application fee. 
• Save, review and then submit the application form.

3-Year LLB

The Maharashtra State Examination Cell provided the mock test link for MH CET Law 3-year LLB on its website. Candidates appearing for the exam will be able to access the mock test link. Candidates should note that the default login ID and password will be used for the registered candidates. 

How to take Mock Test?

The MH CET Law mock test link is available at the official website- cetcell.mahacet.org. The candidates will have to login using the auto-filled credentials to take the mock test.

The MH CET Law admit card will be issued to the candidates who register for the exam,

• Candidates will have to visit the MAH CET website. 
• Now, click on the "Download Admit Card CET - 2026" option. 
• A new login window will be visible to you. 
• Log in to this window using for MH CET Law application number, date of birth, and the provided security code (Captha Code). 
• Your admit card will open in a new tab. Click on the download button to save it as PDF. 

MH CET Law Exam Day Instructions 2026

To take the MH CET Law 2026, candidates must follow the instructions mentioned below:

• Candidates appearing for the law entrance exam should report their allotted test centre at least an hour before the scheduled exam timings. 
• They should carry MHCET Law 2026 admit card (one extra copy) along with one valid photo identity proof. 
• Candidates should also carry two ballpoint pens either in blue colour or black colour as required to mark their answers on the OMR answer sheet.
• Candidates should follow the instructions mentioned on the admit card as well as the instructions by exam centre authority. 
• Candidates should not carry any valuables or prohibited items to their exam centres.

The MH CET Law answer key is released within 10 days of the conclusion of the exam. Follow the process given below to download answer key-

• Go to the CET Cell Maharashtra website, cetcell.mahacet.org. 
• Log in to candidate portal.
• Now, click on the "Objection Tracking" option. 
• Click on the "MAH LLB 3 Year Answer Key" link. 
• Fill out the objection-related details in the objection form. 
• Save and submit all the details to complete the process.
