Common Management Aptitude Test or CMAT 2019 will be held on January 27, 2018, which is almost six months from now. It is time for CMAT 2019 aspirants to pace up their preparation.
One of the most important aspects of CMAT 2019 or any other management aptitude test is a thorough understanding of the question paper of that particular exam.
CMAT 2019 question paper will be similar to the question papers of other MBA entrance exams, with MCQs from Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning and Data Interpretation, English Language and General Knowledge. Each of these four sections will contain equal number of questions (25). Each right answer will carry 4 marks and each wrong answer carries negative marking of 1 mark.

Although, CMAT official question papers are not released because the CMAT exam in conducted in online mode; but there are enough mock test papers available to give you an idea about the actual question paper and help you master it.

CMAT exam is usually considered easier than CAT and XAT. The difficulty level of CMAT is generally moderate to difficult. The CMAT 2018 question paper however had lengthy Data Interpretation and tricky Logical Reasoning questions. The General Knowledge section was also surprisingly difficult.
In the CMAT 2018 exam, the candidates did not face any surprise question out of all 100 questions asked, but a few questions required them to pay extra attention due to their twisted form.

Sectional Analysis of CMAT 2018:
Quantitative Techniques and Data Interpretation: This section had questions from Arithmetic, Algebra, Geometry, Number System, PnC, Modern Math and Mensuration. Out of 25 questions 4-5 were difficult and DI questions were 2-3, low as always.
Logical Reasoning: Logical Reasoning section had easy to moderate question, but a few questions were tricky. The LR section was pretty familiar and on expected lines apart from some questions that were time consuming.
Language Comprehension: This section was easy to moderate with more vocabulary related questions. There were four RC passages with 15 questions. Three passages were short with three questions and one was long with six questions.
CMAT 2019 aspirants can expect their question paper to be on the same lines. No change is exam pattern is expected. However, they must solve a variety of mock test papers so that they are well prepared for all types of questions.
CMAT 2019 is scheduled to be held on January 27, 2019. CMAT 2019 applications can be submitted online from October 22 to December 15, 2019. CMAT 2019 admit cards will be issued in the first week of January 2019 and the CMAT 2019 result will be announced in the first week of February.

Yes, it is important to practice sectional mock tests as the exam has no time limit for each section, unlike CAT. Sectional mocks will help you in have a practice of solving each section in a time bound manner.

In the last week of CMAT 2027 you should practice only one mock test, that too to stay in the online test mode. You must not attempt multiple tests and rather spend time on revision.

We suggest to attempt only one CMAT mock test on a given day, as it is a 3 hour long test and you will need time to analyse the result too.

CMAT 2027 exam preparation will require two phase planning – one will be covering the syllabus and another will be practicing mock tests with revision. Yes, candidates will need to have a valid Aadhaar number to register for CMAT exam. Until last year, candidates could use other photo IDs too to register for the exam.

Yes, you can apply for CMAT as only passing marks are required in graduation to apply. However, CMAT accepting colleges accept candidature only above 50% (45% for Reserved categories).
