KMAT Eligibility Criteria for MBA/PGDM
- Candidates should have a bachelor's degree of three-year duration from any recognised college/institute.
- They must have obtained a minimum of 50% aggregate. However, if they belong to SC/ST categories, then they should have obtained at least 45% aggregate of all subjects in the final year examination.
- Candidates appearing for the final year examination of their bachelor's degree are also eligible.
- Candidates who passed a Master’s degree examination in Commerce, Management, Arts, Social Sciences, Engineering & Technology streams from any recognised institute/university are also eligible to apply for KMAT 2025.

KMAT 2025 Eligibility for MCA
- Candidates seeking admission to MCA courses through KMAT 2025 exam must hold a bachelor degree in any stream.
- They must have secured 50% aggregate in the final year examination of their bachelor degree.
- Moreover, they must have studied Mathematics subject at their Class 12 level examinations.
KMAT Karnataka 2025 Domicile Criteria
Candidates belonging to any part of the country are eligible to apply for the KMAT exam. Candidates can apply for KMAT 2025 irrespective of their locality status/residential address. Earlier, KMAT eligibility as prescribed by KPPGCA, stated that only candidates residing in Karnataka can apply for the exam. KPPGCA has removed the domicile criteria now.
Candidates can choose only one KMAT test city according to their preference. Candidates must very carefully select the cities as once the KMAT application form is submitted, they can't change city preference. They should choose the first city of preference as their hometome or where they are residing as the exam authorities will likely allot the test centres to candidates in their first city of preference. Candidates should know that the KMAT test cities cannot be changed once the form is submitted even during the form correction window.
No, candidates cannot appear more than once for the KMAT exam. The KMAT exam is held only once a year. Candidates have to wait for the next session if they miss this year's exam. The KMAT exam is being conducted in the IBT (internet-based test or online remote proctored) mode. Based on the Karnataka Management Aptitude Test scores, students can apply for admission to various programs offered by KMAT participating colleges. The exam will only be conducted in the internet-based test mode for all the sessions. The difficulty level of the KMAT exam is usually easy and the candidates can easily prepare for this exam. Candidates who wish to appear for the KMAT exam need to apply on the official website of KMAT India and fill out the KMAT application form once the application window opens. KMAT is held in about 10 test cities in the state of Karantaka, but since the exam is being held in the remote proctored mode, candidates do not have to visit the exam centre to take the exam.
