MAT 2020 registration cum application process for IBT mode exams to be held from August 27 to September 2 is underway. Candidates interested in apply for MAT exam can fill the online application form before the deadline.
The IBT mode exams will be conducted in remotely proctored method, wherein the candidates can take the time-bound exam from home. The exam conducting body, AIMA introduced the IBT mode keeping in mind the COVID-19 pandemic.

MAT 2020 Registration Process
MAT 2020 registration is an online process. Candidates can fill the MAT application form online on the MAT AIMA website by creating a login ID. Check the steps of MAT application process below:
- Visit the official website of AIMA MAT and click on 'register button'
- Enter Name, Phone Number, Email ID, Date of Birth and set a password
- Confirm details and click on submit button
- Candidates will receive an OTP on the registered mobile number regarding MAT exam registration
- Verify phone number, login again to complete the MAT online registration
- Enter personal and academic details and upload passport size photo and signature
- Make payment of MAT application fee of Rs 1,650 via debit/credit card and net banking

There is no minimum passing marks in MAT. Anybody scoring more than 0 marks is eligible for admission. However, since MAT admission is cut off based, merely passing the exam will not ensure selection.

No, having good scores in MAT entrance test is not enough. AIM Pune admission is entrance-based. The accepted entrance exams are MAT/ XAT/ CAT/ CMAT/ ATMA entrance test. The final shortlisting is done on the basis of Written Ability Test/ Group Discussion followed by personal interview.
