I'm a woman of bold and energetic personality who was always enthusiastic about studies and career goals. I was just a teen after completing graduation in BSc and was planning to study further. Then, an unexpected instance flipped the coin and here I was planning to fill my Trousseau for marriage.

My mind still flooded with a ton of thoughts regarding my career, I approached my in-laws to an instance they agreed. After which I planned to join a P.G college in Hyderabad, where I was supposed to settle after marriage. Here comes the decision to get a seat in a Post-Graduation college of repute from where I wish to pursue an MBA programme.

How I cracked college admissions

I scored a rank of 3706 in my I-CET-2013 exam, then in the phase I counseling, I got seat in Bhavan's Engineering College, Sainikpuri. Due to some financial crisis, as marriage was on the priority list, I ended up landing into the phase II counselling. Then in counseling-II, I got a seat in St. Joseph’s Degree College which was a turning point in my life.

What I gained from my college years

It took me few weeks to adopt the new environment, as I had to change my city and my college including my routine life. My college starts at 8:30am in the morning, to reach on time, I used to travel 2kms by walk then take a bus, then walk a km to reach college on time. There were times when I used to get late and then had to stay outside the college gate till lunch hours. Due to strict rules and regulations, after 8:30am they did not allow students to enter the college premises.

I was lucky enough to get a college of repute that provides quality education, with practical training. Besides, the faculty members were very helpful, always ready to help even after college hours by providing extra classes and putting in extra efforts. We used to take Mock tests, Group discussions, Debates, Subjectivity Role-play's etc. which helped us to grab a better job opportunity after MBA. The college also organized various Fests, Events and many more as a part of extra curriculum. They also helped us in getting internships for projects, part- time jobs apart from regular studies. Most of fellow batch mates got placed in MNC's (Deloitte, GE Shaw, CTS, Amazon, Franklin Templeton) through our college placement cell.
