NMAT 2026 will be conducted under a testing window of 45+ days from November 2 to December 20. Candidates can choose from 54 test cities or appear for the NMAT exam centre from test centres. Check the complete list of NMAT exam centres here.
NMAT 2026 Exam Centre List
NMAT 2026 Exam Centres: The Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) will conduct the NMAT 2026 in 54 exam cities within 23 states/Union Territories of India. Candidates can choose the NMAT exam cities during the NMAT 2026 slot booking. Pearson VUE, on behalf of GMAC shall conduct the NMAT 2026 exam in a Computer-Based Test (CBT).
To facilitate smooth exam functioning, the conducting body shall provide special assistance and accommodation facility for physically challenged candidates. Test-takers can request special arrangements, which shall be allotted to them at the NMAT exam centres 2026. Candidates can use the NMAT login account to schedule the exam and choose the preferred exam centre and date. NMAT 2026 Exam Centre Instructions and Facilities
Selection of NMAT by GMAC Exam Centres: Candidates can select their test centres while scheduling their exam. The list of exam centres for NMAT 2026 will be available during scheduling and candidates can select multiple test centres to their nearest location.
Facilities for PwD candidates: Candidates with physical disabilities taking the NMAT exam can request for special arrangements as under:
- Accommodation facility
- Extra Time
- Reader
- System allotment with large fonts on the screen
- Scribe for visually handicapped candidates
- Mobility assistance
Criteria for Accommodation and Special Arrangements: The special arrangements will be made only for candidates who will raise requests during NMAT 2026 registration and application process and the accommodation facility will only for candidates with the following disabilities:
- Learning disability
- Mobility impairment
- Blindness - low vision or no vision
- Cerebral Palsy
- Leprosy and other
How to Book NMAT Slot 2026?
Candidates can book NMAT exam slot by following the process below:
- Log in to the official NMAT account on the mba.com portal using your registered email ID and password.
- Navigate to the candidate dashboard and find the exam application section.
- Click on the "Book Exam" option next to your completed registration.
- Select the state, preferred city, or test centre location for your exam.
- Choose an available test date from the calendar within the designated delivery window.
- Pick an available time slot for the chosen date.
- Review all appointment details carefully on the summary screen.
- Confirm your booking to submit your NMAT by GMAC appointment request.

Graduate Management Admission Council conducts the NMAT exam within a particular exam timeline. Every year, NMAT exam is usually scheduled to be conducted in the last quarter of a calendar year. Candidates are able to take the exam until December. Candidates can appear for the NMAT exam three times during the testing window. Soon after taking the first exam attempt, candidates can fill the retake registration form to apply for the NMAT retake. However, one can schedule a retake of the NMAT exam 15 days after the first take.

Documents to Carry to NMAT Test Centre
PWD candidates have to arrange for their own scribe first if they are not able to then GMAC will provide a scribe facility at the NMAT test centres. However, in any case, they have to request for a scribe to GMAC. Candidates should carry their NMAT 2026 admit card and the following documents such as ID proof to their exam centres on the test day in original as well as photocopies:
- Valid passport
- PAN card
- Aadhaar Card/UID
- Voter ID
- Debit Card/Credit Card (as a signature document)
- Driver’s License (as a signature document)

Yes. Candidates can choose an exam date to appear for NMAT while scheduling the exam. GMAC provides the facility of convinient slot with NMAT to help candidates prepare well and controlling the exam anxiety. Candidates who fill and submit the NMAT form are allowed to schedule the exam after paying the application fee. While choosing an exam slot to appear for NMAT, candidates have to choose an exam centre followed by choosing the available slot in a particular centre. Candidates cannot chose an exam date after the scheduling window has been closed.
NMAT exam is conducted by GMAC three times during one MBA admission session. GMAC facilitates the three exam takes within a testing window. The test window for NMAT ranges around 45 days. Once the candidate has a valid score, he/she can compete the retake registration process and schedule any date that is 15 days after the previous attempt.
Candidates can choose to appear for NMAT up to three times on chosen dates within the test window specified by GMAC. Of all the three test scores, best exam score is sent to the NMAT participating colleges, chosen by the applicant while filling the form.
Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) conducts NMAT exam in an online mode. Online NMAT exam is conducted from Pearson VUE centres situated across India. Candidates need to appear at the chosen test centre to appear for the computer based NMAT exam. At the NMAT exam centre, each candidate is allotted a computer system where he/she has to login to take the test. Once the candidate logs in to the computer system, the responses will be recorded against the test taker ID. Further, this test taker ID will be helpful while evaluating performance of indicidual test takers.
