Cover entire syllabus: It is imperative for an aspirant to cover the entire TISSNET syllabus by now. However, with approximately a month to go, a candidate should be clear about his/her strengths and weaknesses. Take Mocks:  Practising previous year's TISSNET question paper and mock tests are key factors to acing an exam. This will help an aspirant devise his section-wise strategy during the exam. Suppose, an aspirant considers English as his forte, he should start with this section and finish it quickly so as to save time for other sections. An aspirant can build a time management strategy by taking a number of mocks. Apart from the complete mocks, candidates should also take sectional mocks for revision purposes of the weak areas.

Speed and accuracy should go together: For an aspirant, speed should not be the only consideration to perform well in the exam. After attempting every question, he or she should be doubly sure about the accuracy of his answers. While TISSNET does not have negative marking but TISS MAT which has been introduced last year does have the provision for the same.

Take breaks: An unregulated study regime could affect the mental health of a candidate. It is crucial for an aspirant to not get stressed out due to the exam. It’s always good to take a break and do something you enjoy. It could be meditation, a good piece of music or your favourite sport.
