Cover entire syllabus: It is imperative for an aspirant to cover the entire TISSNET syllabus by now. However, with approximately a month to go, a candidate should be clear about his/her strengths and weaknesses. If a certain topic tends to confuse an aspirant, s/he should cover it and clear the doubts at the earliest because it often happens that the topics, we leave out of complacency, often spring a surprise in the exam.

Decoding the exam pattern: Unlike the regular MBA entrance exams, TISSNET Pattern lays emphasis on the social aptitude of the candidate. The questions in the aptitude and reasoning section are usually easy to moderate while in General awareness section, a majority of questions are asked from static GK. So, those who plan to take this exam should be abreast of these facts.

While TISSNET does not have negative marking but TISS MAT which has been introduced last year does have the provision for the same.

Take breaks: An unregulated study regime could affect the mental health of a candidate. It is crucial for an aspirant to not get stressed out due to the exam. It’s always good to take a break and do something you enjoy. It could be meditation, a good piece of music or your favourite sport.
