What is AIAPGET?
All India AYUSH Postgraduate Entrance Test, commonly known as AIAPGET, is conducted for admissions to the postgraduate courses in Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy. The National Testing Agency (NTA) on behalf of the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India conducts AIAPGET exam. It is conducted annually in a computer-based mode. Candidates who qualify for the examination scoring the minimum cut off percentile can opt for MS, MD, or PG diploma courses in the above-mentioned disciplines. Admission for MS, MD, or PG diploma courses in Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy is given on the basis of merit. The candidates are advised to read the information bulletin before filling the application form. AIAPGET 2026 Eligibility Conditions
The candidates can see the AIAPGET 2026 eligibility conditions below:
- Candidates must possess BAMS/ BUMS/ BSMS/ BHMS/Graded BHMS degree
- Candidates with a provisional BAMS/ BUMS/ BSMS/ BHMS Pass Certificate (recognised as per the provisions of the IMCC 1970/HCC 1973 Act) can also apply for AIAPGET
- Permanent or provisional registration certificate of BAMS/ BUMS/ BSMS/ BHMS/Graded BHMS degree qualification issued by the CCIM/CCH/state board/universities/deemed universities
- He/she must have completed one year of internship or is likely to complete the internship on or before August 31, 2026, as decided by the National Commission for Homoeopathy (NCH)
- There is no upper age limit for the candidates appearing for AIAPGET 2026
- NTA has not specified the number of attempts permitted to clear AIAPGET; thus, a candidate can take the examination as many times as he/she needs to clear it.
Note: Candidates found to be ineligible at any stage will not be permitted to appear in the examination. In an unlikely event of any ineligible candidate appearing and/or qualifying AIAPGET 2026, the result/candidature of such candidate shall be cancelled.
AIAPGET 2026 Application Form
The NTA has released a notice on its official website to explain the AIAPGET 2026 application filling process. The candidates must fill the AIAPGET application form before the last date. The candidates can see the AIAPGET
- The candidates need to register first to generate the application number.
- After generating the application number, the candidates will be asked to log in with such application number and password to fill the form.

Live Photo-Capturing during Application Filling
There will be Live Photo Capturing during the AIAPGET 2026 application filling process. This is a new feature which is implemented across all NTA exams.
UDID-Based Verification

Yes. Candidates need to prepare whole syllabus for AIAPGET exam comprising topics and subjects studied for BAMS and BHMS at undergraduate level. - Smoking, chewing gutka, spitting, etc. in the examination hall is strictly prohibited. Instrument/Geometry/Pencil box, Handbag, Purse, Any kind of Paper/ Stationery, Eatables/snacks and Tea/coffee/cold drinks/Water, Mobile Phone/ Ear Phone/Microphone/Pager, Calculator, Camera, Tape Recorder, any metallic item or electronic gadgets, etc. are NOT allowed in the Examination Room/Hall.
- Candidates who are diabetic can carry eatables like sugar tablets/fruits (like banana/ apple/orange) and a transparent water bottle to the examination hall. However, they will not be allowed to carry packed foods like chocolate/candy/sandwich, etc.

NTA will announce AIAPET results on its official website. The result cum scorecard will be uploaded online. Qualified candidates can download scorecard from official website with login details. AIAPGET 2026 answer key will be released by NTA. Answer key is released online. It must be noted, two types of answer keys are released for AIAPGET. Provisional AIAPGET answer key is released a couple of days after exam and final answer key along with AIAPGET result. A separe answer key PDF is uploaded for Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Unani, and Siddha courses on official website, ntaaiapget.nic.in. The answer key contains the correct response to all sets of questions asked in the AIAPGET 2026 exam. Candidates can also challenge provisional answer key. In order to challenge the answer key, candidates will have to pay Rs 200 per challenged question. The subject matter experts then recheck all the answers and release final answer key. There is no provision to challenge final answer key for AIAPGET.

Qualifying percentile for AIAPGET exam varies as per category of student. For general category, minimum qualifying percentile is 50th, while for SC/ST/OBC, it is 40 percentile. Only those who score minimum cut off as per category are declared qualified for exam.
AIAGPET cutoff is released by National Testing Agency (NTA) and participating institutes also release their individual cutoff for granting admission through AIAGPET scores. The cut off is released after result announcement. It must be noted candidates will have to score the minimum cut off to qualify for AIAPGET exam.
If a candidate does not secure marks as per the required qualifying percentile mentioned for a particular category then he/she will not be declared qualified for AIAPGET exam. Which means, he/she will not be able to participate in the counselling process for seat allotment.
