UP NEET Merit List 2025 has been released by DMT, Lucknow. The merit list has been uploaded online in PDF format on August 11, 2025. Candidates included in the merit/rank list of UP NEET 2025 will be participating in the counselling for seat allotment. A total of 4 rounds of counselling will be held online for allotment of seats.

The merit/rank list PDF comprises details such as name of candidate, All India Rank, state rank, NEET mark, percentile, category etc. A separate merit list will be released for each round of counselling. UP NEET Merit List 2025 Tie Breaking Criteria
If two or more candidates score same marks, his/her merit position will be decided by following tie breaking criteria:
Yes, it is mandatory to qualify NEET 2025 to participate in the counselling process. Admission to all UG medical and dental courses in India will be done on the basis of NEET 2025 result only. Based on NEET 2025 score, a state merit list will be released. Candidates included in the merit list will be eligible to participate in UP NEET counselling 2025. They will have to register and declare preference of choices for seat allotment.
No. candidates who have already registered in round-1 UP NEET counselling don't need to register again. Registration can be done on the official website, upneet.gov.in. Registration will be completed only when registration fee (both refundable and non refundable) are paid. Candidates will have to pay INR 2,000 as non refundable fee for registration.

UP NEET counselling begins with registration. Candidates who qualify NEET exam have to register online and submit application form with registration fee. Thereafter documents are verified and a merit list is released, comprising eligible candidates for seat allotment. Candidates included in the merit list have to declare preferences of choices online. A seat allotment result PDF is released at the end.
DGME, Lucknow conducted total five counselling rounds including a mop-up round for the allocation of seats to the candidate. Candidates needed to register with login credentials generated during application process. Seats were allotted based on choice declared by candidates, NEET 2025 rank, availability of seats in particular college and course, and reservation factor.
No. DGME, UP announced round-3 seat allotment result for UP NEET 2025 counselling on November 5, 2025. The seat allotment result has been uploaded on the official website, upneet.gov.in. After seat allotment candidates will have to report for document verification till November 8.
- Those who will have more marks in Biology will be ranked up in merit list
- If two candidates get same marks in Biology, then rank position will be decided by marks in Chemistry
- If still a tie, in that case, candidates with fewer incorrect answers will be preferred in ranking
- In case a tie still exists, then older candidates will be ranked higher in UP NEET merit list 2025

Admission process for undergraduate courses in UP medical colleges starts with registration. Candidates have to register and submit application form to participate in the counselling.
