Yes, Class 12 mathematics is relevant to IPMAT exam. The exam relies heavily on the mathematics component. In the IPMAT question paper, there are two sections on Quantitative Ability and one on Verbal Ability. I am unable to upload my signatures in the IPMAT registration form. What should I do?

There is a set limit to upload a photograph and digital signatures in the IPMAT registration form. The size of the file should be between the prescribed size. Also, the dimensions of the image uploaded should match the ones mentioned in the instructions. If the documents are not in the prescribed format then the application form can be rejected. Candidates must note that there is a very small form correction window in the IPMAT application process, hence they must carefully fill the application form and upload clear scanned copies of the documents.

Can I pay the IPMAT registration fee by cash/DD or net banking?

IPMAT registration fee can be paid only online. There is no provision of paying the application fee offline. Candidates need to pay the application fee online in order to complete the IPMAT application form. The candidates applying for the IPMAT exam must note that the IPMAT application process is completely online from filling the IPMAT application form till paying the application fee. There is no offline communication. The application fee for IPMAT is INR 4130. The application fee for IPMAT can only be paid online using a credit card, debit card, internet banking or UPI. Students belonging to the reserved category are eligible to avail a fee concession. The IPMAT application fee for reserved category students is INR 2065.

If any student gets 2% less than 60% in Class 10 or Class 12, will he be able to take IPMAT?

Minimum eligibility criteria for IPMAT is a score of at least 60 per cent in both Class 10 and Class 12 or equivalent for General and NC-OBC categories. Candidate should have scored a minimum of 55% in case of SC, ST and PWD DA categories. Also, they should be a maximum of 20 years of age as of July 31, 2026.

Is there a fee charged for IPMAT application form correction?

No, candidates do not have to pay any fee for IPMAT form correction. The facility is provided to candidates free of cost. However, if they have made an error in a field that is not available for editing, then, they will have to fill a fresh IPMAT form before submission deadline and pay the application fee again.

Can IPMAT application filled offline?

IPMAT 2026 form correction window opened on March 23, 2026, and closed on March 24, 2026, till 5 PM. IPMAT registration 2026 started on February 2, 2026. IPMAT application form was available on IIM Indore website, iimidr.ac.in, and there was no provision for offline IPMAT Indore registration 2026. Last date for filling IPMAT form was March 17, 2026, till 5 PM.

How to Apply for IPMAT 2026?

Students can fill the IPMAT exam form 2026 by:

Click on registration link for IPMAT 2026
The student needs to generate a User ID and a password
This User ID and password will also be sent to the student through the registered email and SMS
Next, the student needs to re-login using the details

Important Instructions While Filling IPMAT Application Form 2026

During IPMAT application form filling, candidates can choose one IPMAT test centre. Test cities cannot be changed once IPMAT application form has been submitted.
Submitting a complete IPMAT exam application form is important to be eligible to take IPMAT exam 2026. If it is half filled, form will be rejected at screening level.
Students should check details entered in IPMAT form 2026. The details should be valid and true such as academic qualifications, date of birth, father’s/mother’s name, permanent address, email ID and phone number, etc.
Photograph should not be older than 3 months. The photograph uploaded in application form should match the one which is to be carried to IPMAT exam centre.

Q: Is there a scholarship through IPMAT?

Yes, IIM Indore extends financial aid to the aspirants in need of financial assistance. The institute offers a Need Based Financial Assistance (NBFA) scholarship to ensure that no aspirant is deprived of education at the institute for financial reasons. All participants admitted to the Post-Graduate Programme in Management (PGP), PGP HRM (PGPH) and Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) with annual family income below INR 9,00,000 are eligible to apply for this scholarship.
