SET 2027 exam will be conducted by Symbiosis University. SET (Symbiosis Entrance Test) is a management entrance exam conducted at the university level. The exam is held once a year in computer-based test mode to offer admission to the top 15 SIU institutes. SET registration will start in December 2026. The SET 2027 exam is likely to be conducted in the second week of May 2027, and the results are likely to be announced in the last week of May 2027. After the results are declared, shortlisted candidates will be called up for the next personal interview/group discussion round conducted by the university. What is SET Exam?
Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET exam) is a university-level exam conducted for admission to BBA, BCA, and other UG programmes offered by Symbiosis International (Deemed University) campuses. Approximately 50,000 aspirants appear for the SET exam, competing for the 700 seats in the 15 SIU institutes. The SET exam is MCQ-based. Those students who score good marks as per the cut-off are shortlisted for the next PI/GD round.

SET 2027 Eligibility Criteria
SET exam aspirants will have to meet the minimum eligibility criteria prescribed by the SIU campuses to appear in the exam.

- Passed Class 12 or equivalent exam in the relevant streams from a recognised board or university
- Minimum marks required is 50% aggregate ( 45% for SC/ST category students).
- Candidates in Class 12 or awaiting results were also eligible to apply.

SET 2027 Registration
SET application process will be online. The link will be available at the exam website.

- Click on rew regisrtration and add basic details to create an ID
- Students will then receive an email and SMS containing their SET ID and Password
- Pay application fee of INR 2250 as per the instructions
- Enter academic and personal details

- Pay INR 1000 as the institute fee and take a print of the SET application form

SET exam consists of 60 multiple-choice questions. Each question carries one mark, and there is no negative marking for incorrect answers. Candidates should however be cautious while answering the questions as accuracy is key a player in scoring well in the SET exam. Practicing previous years' papers can help in understanding the question pattern and managing time effectively.
Since there are no optional questions in the SET exam, all 60 MCQs are compulsory.

Symbiosis International adheres to the reservation criteria as per the University of Grants Commission guidelines 2006 reservation policy for all the institutes. The sanctioned intake is as follows:

During the SET registration process, candidates need to select their SET exam centre. The candidates can choose upto three SET exam centres for the SET exam centre allotment. Candidates should choose the test centres in the order of their preference, as they cannot be changed after the SET exam application form submission. Follow the steps mentioned below to know how to select the SET exam centre:
- Register on the official website of SET.
- Login to the candidate portal and fill the rest of the SET application form
- Under the 'test centre' tab, choose the preferred test cities.
- Candidates can select up to three test centres while filling out the SET exam application form 2024.
- Candidates must select test centres in order of their preference, i.e. from first to third.
- Fill up the entire SET application form, pay the application fee and finally and click 'Submit'.

The SET BBA question paper is divided into four sections, I. e. General English Quantitative Aptitude Logical Reasoning and General Awareness. SET exam is conducted for one hour in CBT mode. Going through the past year question papers will give an idea about what to expect and an insight into the difficulty level. To prepare for the General English section, read and practice a lot of comprehension passages, and work on vocabulary and grammar. For the General Awareness section, read newspapers and magazines to know the Current Affairs, the latest trends, history, and geography. You can also refer to books for static GK. The next step would be to capitalise on strengths and work on weaknesses.
