AI Meets Automation: IIT Patna Hosts Talk on Agentforce and Salesforce-MuleSoft Synergy

CCDC at IIT Patna organised an industry talk on "Leveraging AI and Agentforce for Intelligent Automation in the Salesforce & MuleSoft Ecosystem," offering students valuable insights.
The Centre for Career Development and Counselling (CCDC) at IIT Patna hosted an insightful industry talk on "Leveraging AI and Agentforce for Intelligent Automation in the Salesforce & MuleSoft Ecosystem", a rapidly evolving domain shaping the future of global tech careers. The event attracted students from diverse academic backgrounds, offering them a deep dive into the transformative potential of digital innovation, cloud integration, and AI-driven automation.
Key highlights of the session included an introduction to the Salesforce and MuleSoft platforms, an exploration of API integration and its career impact, a demonstration of AI Agents and AgentForce applications, and real-world use cases of intelligent automation in digital enterprises. The speakers emphasized how integrating AI agents into Salesforce and MuleSoft ecosystems can unlock unprecedented opportunities for intelligent automation, empowering organizations to create smarter, more adaptive solutions.
Featured speakers included Amit Mohan, Digital Solution Director at NTT Data, and Om Prakash, Founder and CEO of Appy Crown. Their engaging session shed light on the growing relevance of API integrations, intelligent automation, and emerging AI frameworks like AgentForce, offering practical perspectives from the forefront of industry innovation.
At the start of the program, Training and Placement Officer Kripa Shankar Singh welcomed the guests and students and gave a brief overview of the program. Dr. Rishav Singh, Associate Chair of CCDC, presented a memento to the guests as a token of appreciation. The Associate Dean (Resource) thanked everyone for the successful event and highlighted its valuable outcomes.
Om Prakash shared some interesting statistics, mentioning that India currently has about 2 million professionals working in various roles within the Salesforce ecosystem, such as administrators, developers, consultants, and architects. He also projected that the Salesforce economy in India will create 1.3 million new jobs by 2026, highlighting the great career opportunities for students and early-career professionals.
