After the postponement of the GATE 2025 admit card dates, aspiring engineers and science graduates eagerly await the release of the GATE admit card, which has been rescheduled for tomorrow (Jan 7, 2025). Read below for more details regarding the exam hall ticket for GATE 2025 -
IIT Roorkee will release the GATE 2025 admit card on January 7, 2025 (REVISED DATES). The hall ticket was scheduled to be released on January 2, 2025. The GATE exam admit card will now be available for download on the GATEβs official website/portal - gate2025.iitr.ac.in.
Candidates can log in using their enrollment ID and password to access and download their GATE 2025 examination hall ticket. The GATE 2025 will be conducted on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025, across multiple centres in India. The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is a gateway to postgraduate programmes and job opportunities in leading Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs).
Steps to Download GATE 2025 Admit Card
Candidates can follow the steps below to download the GATE hall ticket -
- Visit the official website or GOAPS portal - gate2025.iitr.ac.in
- Log in using the GATE enrollment ID and password
- The admit card for GATE will be displayed on the screen.
- Check all the details and download the hall ticket.
- Save the PDF file and take a clear, legible printout on A4-sized paper.
What should you check on the GATE hall ticket?
After downloading the GATE admit card, candidates should verify the following details -
- Name, photograph, and signature
- Registration number
- Exam date, time, and session
- GATE centre address
- Paper code and
- Exam day instructions
In case there is any discrepancy, candidates must immediately contact the GATE organizing committee for rectification. Errors in the admit card could lead to complications on the exam day.
Candidates must bring proof of valid photo ID, such as an Aadhaar card/Voter ID, Passport, etc., to the exam centre. Without these documents, entry to the exam hall is not permitted.
Candidates are advised to reach the exam centre at least 60 minutes before the reporting time mentioned on their admit card. Items such as mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators, and study materials are prohibited inside the exam hall. Rough sheets and virtual calculators will be provided at the centre.
Candidates are urged to download their GATE 2025 admit card well in advance to avoid last-minute technical glitches. IIT Roorkee has assured all candidates that adequate arrangements have been made for the smooth conduct of the examination.
