GATE CSE 2026 admit card: Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati has released GATE CSE exam admit card 2026. The link to download GATE CSE admit card can be checked here. The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering was held on February 7, 8, 14, and 15 in two shifts. The exam timings were session 1 (9:30 am to 12:30 pm) and session 2 (2:30 pm to 5:30 pm). Students can download their hall ticket at the GOAPS portal. Candidates can follow the steps to download exam hall ticket below -

  • Visit the official website of GATE 2026 exam - gate2026.iitg.ac.in
  • Click on the applicant login and enter enrollment ID and password
  • Select option "download GATE admit card"

What to carry for GATE Computer Science and Engineering exam?

Candidates appearing for exam must carry following items to the test centre -

  • Admit card (must be printed clearly with no tampering)
  • Valid ID proof (as mentioned in GATE application form)
  • Students can carry their own pen and pencil for rough work 
  • Transparent water bottle

Items that are prohibited inside the GATE Exam Hall

The following items, which are not allowed inside the exam hall, are as follows-

  • Personal calculator, mobile phones, watches, or any other electronic devices. 
  • Charts, tables, papers, books, heavy ornaments, sheets, etc. 
  • Any type of food items are not allowed to carry inside exam hall.

Note: A Scribble pad will be provided for rough work. Candidates must provide their name and registration number before using it. At the end of the exam, the scribble pad has to be returned to the invigilator.

IIIT Ranchi considers the score of GATE exam for M.Tech admission. However, it is not compulsory. The M.Tech admission will be through online/offline counselling based on the GATE score and/or written test and/or interview by the respective departments at IIIT Ranchi.
