GATE 2026 Cutoff: Check Expected and Branch-Wise Cutoff Scores for IITs and NITs here

GATE 2026 cutoff: IIT Guwahati will release GATE cutoff 2026 on its official website in the form of minimum qualifying mark (subject-wise). The cutoff mark of GATE exam will be made available after the declaration of results. The GATE result will be announced on March 19, 2025. Cutoff are of two types: qualifying and admission cutoff. 

Qualifying cutoff is the eligible score you need to clear the GATE exam, and admission cutoff refers to the minimum cutoff needed to get admission to NITs, IITs, IIITs, and GFTIs. Candidates who qualify the MTech entrance exam will be eligible for counselling. The counselling is conducted online on two portals: COAP (for IIT admission) and CCMT (for NIT, IIITs, etc. admission). Qualified candidates will be able to download scorecard and later to use it in GATE counselling process. However, the cutoff varies every year depending on various factors.
