IIT Guwahati Partners with HCLTech to Offer BSc Honours in Data Science & AI for Employees

HCLTech has partnered with IIT Guwahati to launch a four-year online Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, aimed at upskilling its workforce.

HCLTech has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati to provide employees enrolled in its early-career development program, TechBee, with a structured pathway to advanced education in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and related fields. As part of the agreement, eligible employees will have the opportunity to pursue a four-year online Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Data Science and AI.

This initiative aims to build future-ready talent by equipping participants with in-demand skills and preparing them for leadership roles in an increasingly AI-driven technology landscape. "Our TechBee program provides high school graduates with a unique opportunity to kick-start their careers, and this collaboration with IIT Guwahati adds another valuable pathway for them to pursue their academic ambitions while gaining real-world industry experience," said Subbaraman B, Senior Vice President, HCLTech.
