The KLEE 2026 exam is expected to be conducted in May/June. The official dates of the KLEE (Kerala Law Entrance Exam) will be released with an official notification. Candidates will be able to register for the KLEE 2026 soon on the website, cee.kerala.gov.in. The KLEE Application Process 2026 will begin after the release of the notification. The KLEE exam dates will be available on the CEE Kerala website. Candidates will only be able to fill out the KLEE 2026 Application Form online.

Candidates who want to take the KLEE entrance exam have to meet the KLEE 2026 eligibility criteria. The Kerala exam cell also conducts the KLEE LLM entrance exam for admission to the PG in Law course. Candidates who want to appear for the KLEE should start their preparation and practice with the previous year's paper to get an idea of the exam. What is KLEE?

Kerala Law Entrance Exam (KLEE) is an entrance exam held for admission in government law colleges and government merit seats in private self-financing law colleges. The law courses for which KLEE is held are 3-year LLB, 5-year LLB, and LLM. Candidates who pass the exam can participate in the KLEE centralised allotment process (CAP) for the allotment of seats in the law colleges. There are 4 law colleges and around 20 private self-financing law colleges in Kerala that participate in CAP.

The exam is held in a computer-based test format at various test centres in the state of Kerala. In the KLEE exam, 200 MCQ-type questions are asked. The total marks on the paper are 600, and the exam duration is two hours. Separate exams are held for 3-year LLB, 5-year LLB, and LLM courses.

KLEE 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Following is the eligibility criteria for For 3 years LLB:

  • Candidates should be Indian citizens.
  • They should be a graduate of a recognised university.
  • Minimum marks in graduation should be 45% for general category, 42% for EWS category, and 40% for SC / ST category
  • No upper age limit or lower age limit criteria for three-year LLB course. 

Following is the eligibility criteria for For 5 years LLB:

  • Applicants should be Indian citizens.
  • Candidates should have passed / appearing in class 10+2 examination.
  • Minimum marks in graduation should be 45% for general category, 43% for EWS category, and 40% for SC / ST category.
  • Must be 17 years of age.

Following is the eligibility criteria for For LLM

  • Candidates should be Indian citizens.
  • Candidates must have an LLB degree (5 year / 3-year course).
  • Minimum marks in graduation should be 45% for general category, 42% for EWS category, and 40% for SC / ST category.
  • No upper age limit or lower age limit for admission to law courses.

KLEE Admit Card 2026

KLEE 2026 admit card will be released for all the registered candidates online on the official website, cee.kerala.gov.in. Admit cards will not be sent by post. The admit card is made available via separate links for 3 years LLB, 5 years LLB and LLM entrance exams. 

The admit card contains the reporting time for the exam, the allotted exam centre, exam date, time and other important information. To download the KLEE 2026 admit card, candidates have to use their application number and password. Candidates have to carry the KLEE admit card on the day of the exam in printed format. The print must be coloured.

How to Download KLEE 2026 Admit Card?

To download the KLEE admit card, candidates have to follow the following process:

  1. Visit the official website of KLEE 2026, cee.kerala.gov.in.
  2. Access the candidate login.
  3. Login using the application number and password.
  4. Download the admit card.
  5. Get coloured printouts of the same to carry on the exam day.

KLEE 2026 Exam Day Guidelines

The exam day guidelines for the Kerala Law Entrance Exam are mentioned on the KLEE admit card. Candidates can also check out the exam day guidelines for KLEE 2026 below: 

  • Candidates must report to the exam centre at the time given by the exam authority. 
  • They will be provided with an access card on which their username, seat number, and roll number will be mentioned. 
  • All candidates must use the username to use the computer system that will be provided to them to take the KLEE 2026 exam. 
  • They also need to sit in the place that is mentioned in their access card (seat number). 
  • All exam takers are strictly prohibited from using a keyboard while taking the exam. Wherever the keyboard is required to take the examination, a virtual keyboard will appear on the computer screen. 
  • The exam takers will get a chance to take a 15-minute mock test that will help them understand how to take the KLEE 2026 exam in a computer-based mode.

KLEE Answer Key 2026

Once the KLEE exam is over, CEE will release the answer key and question paper of KLEE. The answer key has the questions asked in the exam and the correct answers to them. Using the answer key, candidates will be able to cross-check their responses. They can know the number of correct and incorrect attempts. Using the marking scheme of the exam, they can then find out their probable score in the exam out of 600.

How to Download KLEE 2026 Scorecard?

The results for KLEE for all courses have been announced online only. Candidates can use the following steps to down the KLEE 2026 scorecard-

  • Go to the CEE Kerala website - cee.kerala.gov.in.
  • Click on the portal link for your respective law programme 3-year LLB/5-year LLB/LLM. 
  • Click on the scorecard link.
  • Now, enter your KLEE hall ticket number and rank.
  • Submit these details and your scorecard will open in a separate tab.

You need to download the scorecard and save it as PDF for the future reference.

After the release of the result, a merit list or rank list is uploaded as a PDF file on the official website. The candidates with names on the merit list can participate in CAP. The scorecard is issued to all candidates to take the exam. The KLEE 2026 rank list will have the roll number of the candidates, score, and KLEE 2026 rank / qualifying status. While the KLEE scorecard has the marks achieved by the candidates in KLEE 2026.

KLEE Counselling 2026

KLEE 2026 counseling for 5-year LLB, 3-year LLB and LLM courses will be conducted online. The counseling process is a single-window seat allotment process. Seats in all the law colleges are allotted via this centralised allotment process - CAP.  In online counseling, candidates have to first register their options within the given deadline, then check the allotment result, and report to the college allotted for admission fee payments and document verification.

The entire counselling process of KEE 2026 will be online. However, verification of documents and fee payment will be done by reporting at the allotted colleges.

How to Check the KLEE Seat Allotment Result 2026?

KLEE Seat Allotment for all courses will be published on the website, cee.kerala.gov.in. Candidates can check in the following manner.

  1. Candidates can access their homepage by entering their application number and password in the ‘Candidate Portal’ provided on the website.
  2. Then, by clicking the menu item ‘Allotment Result’, candidates can download their allotment memo and data sheet.

The Entrance Examination for admission to the LLM curse is a Computer Based Test (CBT). The Questions of the Entrance Examination is of objective type. The questions shall be of the standard of LLB Examination. The LLM paper has 2 parts - part A and part B. There are a total of 200 questions in the exam. Part A has 100 questions and part 2 has 100 questions. Part A has 4 sections and Part B has 6 sections.
