Overview

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences has released the Foreign Medical Graduates Examination (FMGE) 2026 information bulletin on its portal - natboard.edu.in. The candidates are advised to read the information brochure to fill the registration form. The last date to apply online for the FMGE 2026 exam is May 11. The Board will provide the application correction facility from May 16 to 18. The candidates will be allowed to make changes in all the details except the primary details of the candidates. The candidates will be allowed to make corrections in the images uploaded with the application form from May 21 to June 10.

The candidates will have to pay the application fee to complete the form. The FMGE 2026 exam will be conducted online as a Computer-Based Test(CBT) on June 28 across the nation.

No, Students who want to appear & qualify FMGE exam must have a MBBS degree. FMGE exam is conducted for the students who completed their MBBS degree from abroad and they want to practise in India. Though there are certain countries like UK, USA, Austraila, Canada & New Zeland, students passed from these countries don't need to appear in FMGE exam to practise in India.

FMGE Registration 2026: Correction Window

The NBEMS will provide the FMGE 2026 correction facility for two times. The Board will allow corrections in the details and documents from May 16 to 18. During this period, the candidates can make any corrections other than the exceptions given below:
