
The Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University released the Uttar Pradesh Common Nursing Entrance Test application form on its portal - abvmucet26.co.in.This portal will be the sole communication channel for all official notifications released by the University. The last date to apply for the UP CNET 2026 was extended to May 20. The University released the UP CNET information brochure and prescribed the process of filling the application form.
The University conducted the UP CNET exam 2026 on June 6 at the designated exam centres across the state. The University mentioned all the UP CNET 2026 dates in the information bulletin.

Documents Required for UP CNET 2026 Application Form
The candidates were advised to arrange the following documents before filling the online application to save time.

Important Instructions to fill UP CNET 2026 Applications
The candidates should follow the guidelines given below while filling the UP CNET registration and application form.
- Keep documents should be ready with you.
- It is suggested that the candidates should register with the personnel mobile number and email id because all communications will be sent on email and whatsapp only.
- The scanned images must be in the format and size notified in the information bulletin. They should be in JPEG format and between 50-200KB in size.
- The verification sheet should be printed on the A4 size paper only.
How to Apply for UP CNET 2026?
The candidates were required to provide the following details for UP CNET Registration.

Once the applicant has created his/her Unique Registration number and password, they were asked to login and change the system-generated password. The UP CNET application form will open and the candidates were asked the following information.
Personal Information
The candidates were asked to fill the personal details such as
- Name of the candidate(As per Class 10th Certificate/Marksheet),
- Father’s & Mother’s Name,
- Date of Birth,
- Gender,

The applicants were asked to enter their Address, State, City, and Pin Code.
Educational Qualifications & Centre City Preferences
The candidates were allowed to select 3 cities as their preferred test centre. The decision of the University was final in this regard.
Photo, Signature, and Verification Sheet
Candidate must upload the scanned image of their passport photo, signature, and verification sheet.
Live Image Capturing
The candidate were asked to sit straight to provide their live image during the application process.
After the above stages, the candidates must pay the examination fee to complete their registration form.
UP CNET 2026 Eligibility

Nationality Requirement
Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply for the exam.
Age Criteria
A candidate must have attained a minimum age of 17 Years. The maximum age of a candidate to apply for the entrance exam was 35 Years. Age Relaxation was only applicable for Reserved Categories as per Government Norms.
UP CNET Education Qualification Criteria
- The candidates passed Class 12 with a minimum of 45% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) taken together, and passed English individually, from a recognised board
- For the SC/ST/OBC Category, the 40% aggregate was acceptable
- English should be a compulsory subject in 10+2 for eligibility for admission in BSc Nursing.
- For admission to Government Nursing colleges, the candidate must be a domicile of Uttar Pradesh

UP CNET Application Fee 2026
The UP CNET application fee must be paid online through the admission portal at abvmuup.edu.in. There is no provision to make the payment offline. After filling the online application form, candidates will be directed to the payment gateway, where the fee payment must be made to make sure that the registration process has been completed.

Please note that in case of payment failure, the candidate can attempt again to pay. Do wait for 30 minutes before making any other attempt for payment if the previous one failed.
UP CNET Application Correction 2026
The UP CNET application correction facility was provided by the University from May 13, 2026. The candidates will be allowed to make corrections in the applications but the last date for the application form was remain the same that was May 20. The candidates will be allowed to make changes in their applications details but no changes will be allowed in the registration details.

The CNET application process is over for the academic year 2026-27. The applications began in March and were available till April 2026. The entire CNET nursing 2026 application process will be conducted online through the official website, abvmuup.edu.in.
If a candidate forgets his/her Registration Id number, click on “Forgot Registration Id Number” on official website to receive again Unique Registration Id number on registered mobile number via a SMS or Email.
The UP CNET 2026 applications were started on the newly published website of the University. The candidates applied till May 20. The exam was conducted on June 6.
The UP CNET BSc nursing application process is conducted by Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University, Uttar Pradesh. The candidate should visit the official website, abvmuup.edu.in. and click on the link for Common Nursing Entrance Test (CNET) 2026.
To pursue the BSc nursing programme a candidate must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent exam. The candidate should have studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English in class 12.
Minimum Marks required to apply for the exam are 40% for reserved categories and 45% marks for the general category.
The minimum age limit to apply for the UP CNET 2026 exam is generally set at 17 years as of December 31, 2026. The exam is held once a year by ABVMU, Lucknow. It is mandatory to fill out the application form to appear for the UG-level nursing entrance.
Last year, the application window was open till May 3, 2025 after it got extended. The dates for the current year have not been announced yet. The CNET application will be submitted through the online mode only via the official website, abvmuup.edu.in. Please note that application is submitted cannot be withdrawn. The examination fee, once deposited, will not be refunded.
